She does that anyway when I tell her to go home.
The last few levels are always the hardest. Though, I didn't do smithing for a loooooong while. Should have some skillbooks lying around, at least.
Fair enough.
i haven't been using the skillbooks, I'm saving them for the last few levels. Or else use some of the what, 200 iron ore I've mined since.
I had to run around all of the cities and continuously buy more iron and iron ingots to make those last iron daggers. Towards the end 50 = 2, 3 levels, IIRC.
My wallet is 30,000 gold lighter, I think it's a month later in the game, but I have 100 Smithing now
Awesome.
Unless you wear heavy armor, in which case Daedric armor is better than Dragon armor.
Except not really since all armor will let you reach the armor cap without much difficulty.
I don't wear Heavy Armour, Lydia does.
But I don't have any Daedra Hearts lying around, while I do have Dragon Bones and Dragon Scales lying around.
And eventually, when I get the Move Silently perk in the Stealth Tree, I'll make Dragonscale armour for my character and try and find some Archery/One Handed enchantments to add to it.
^^There's a cap? Did not know that.
I think it's something like 500 Armour, and it stops taking it into account when calculating damage.
Anyway, now that Lydia has armour, I'ma go kill stuff now.
You can absorb a maximum of 80% damage. This accounts to something in the 500 range, so there's no point in wasting perks that let you go beyond that, if you can help it.
I believe the armour cap is closer to 600 than 500. It's like 560-something.
^It's a flat damage reduction, for physical attacks anyway.
In that case I look forward to a modder blowing that cap off
Defense reduces the damage you recieve by a percentage that is based on your armor rating via some formula that I can't remember, but at the maximum value damage is reduced by 80%.
Which, by the way, is a terribly stupid way of implementing defense and I have no clue why Bethesda still thinks it's okay. It makes it so that weak armor is completely worthless even against weak enemies, and also makes it so that the higher your defense already is, the more value you get from increasing it, which is exactly the opposite of how attributes in video games should work.
So I have another character on the side I just started
He is a priest. Who should he be a priest of, though? I'm guessing that that would have an effect on what I do with him (for example, I'm sure a priest of Meridith would want him to destroy necromancers no matter what)
I only want him to be a priest of either an Aedra or one of the good Daedra (Meridith being one example)
You mean Meridia?
As for Azura, if you do her quest and you want to be faithful to her you'll have to cleanse the gem her way and forego the Black Star.
Lydia got trapped behind a door in the final fight of Shroud Hearth Burrow. Killed everything myself. Was funny because the Overlord wasn't able to kill me as I just jumped onto one of the raised platforms and shot him with arrows a bunch of times. He just ran around all like "wtf what do I do I know Fus Ro Dah shit that didn't work ".
Then I went and dropped my loot back off at Breezehome and sold the jewels I had picked up. Then I jaunted on over to Rorikstead, killed a sabre cat, then killed two sabre cats a few seconds later (the first had wandered away from the other two). Then I went and slaughtered a Forsworn Hideout (including one silly Hagraven using Ice magic on my Nord rather than their godly fire spells) before some "Fugitive" came up to me and told me to hang on to something before running off. The only problem is he never gave me anything. Then I had to get off of my main computer and I'm not supposed to be on this one but eeeeeeh I don't know what's good for me.
I think I may create a new character now, someone who uses heavy armour and two-handed weapons, along with Restoration and Destruction. Four skill-trees to work my way up :V
If he uses Heavy Armour and Two-handed weapons, he has to be a Nord.
I'm sorry, but those are the rules. I don't make them or enforce them, I just inform you of them.
No. Bosmer. Obviously.
>Mer
There's your problem.
My other person is a nord though
i want an imperial
Imperials are also acceptable.
Nords are better at two-handed Heavy though.
^^^ Joking. Obviously.
> implying that even matters beyond a point
Oh am I now?
I meant I was.
Dude it's not all about you.
Oh, my apologies. I misread that.
Hee, I made a bandit my follower
I love him already~
