    Between Trixie being irritating enough by design, her abysmal sound quality, and the VA kind of sucking and having no concept of speaking tempo, she almost made me want to jam a fork through my brain.  Which is weird, because the others had decent recording equipment, and are for the most part a bit unpolished but pretty good as far as amateur VA's go.

    Trixie's shitty sound quality made me think of Robo Sweetie Belle from Friendship is Witchcraft though, so at least it was worth one unintentional smile.  And she got better as it went on.

    I get that they have to record the lines separately, but it has the issue of feeling really stilted and disconnected in conversations.  It could've done with a read-through over Vent or something to establish the conversation's cadence and flow, which would've made the individual lines mesh a lot better.

    Overall Pony Wright is great, but it lacks polish. I'm hoping they'll improve in the next couple episodes...

    ^Applebloom is usually really well voiced in fanworks for some reason. I guess it's not that hard to make a light Texan accent.

    ^I don't mind them as much as a lot of fans. The only one I kinda dislike is Scootaloo, and that's because of lack of development more than anything.

    Meh.  About the only thing about the CMC's I had to mute things for was the song, which was specifically supposed to be ear-rapingly bad.  I seem to remember Faust said in an interview that they had to tell Daniel Ingram a few times "no, make it worse."  Poor guy :(

    But hey, it turned into a kinda kickass metal remix, so whatevs.



    I totally want to make a Touhou style game with the CMC's as a boss fight ala the Prismrivers and Mickey Mouse it to that song.  You know, so it would trade off instruments roughly based on who you should be fighting by then, and then the last verse before the loop would use all three while you take on their combined attack.

    Decided to check up on a comic that's on hiatus until sometime this month

    Nothing so I checked their furaffinity for news (they only put news there or on the comic site)

    I get greeted with anthro pinkie pie, rainbow dash, and rarity (no need for you all to freak out, they were clothed... Of course the comments still made me worry...)
