    Just watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes for the first time.

    I'm honestly kind of shocked at how good it was.

    This was my reaction upon seeing it in theater.

    I think it really caught most everyone by surprise. Pretty much everywhere I looked before the film released (including the TVTropes film thread), people were preemptively trashing it based on past POTA movie experiences and assumptions made from the trailers, but once it hit the theater most everyone's opinion did a 180.

    It was just a really surprisingly well made film that happened to be in the POTA mythos.

    I named some of my Pokemon after forum members in my Flora Sky Nuzlocke. I remember Chagen the Wynaut,Vorpy the Gloom and INUH the Shellder. I boxed all three upon capture

    On the bright side, I made progress in Skyward Sword. Ghirahim was a pain and I need to get used to the fact that I can do an upstroke while my sword is pointed upwards.

    $100? Hell in a handbasket. For all the songs I bought on Rock Band, when I could still play it, I don't think I spent that much.

    Though this makes me want to watch iDOLM@STER even more, believe it or not. But finishing Nichijou comes first, and Future Diary probably will, too.

     It's songs and costumes and accessories and a DLC character. It does seem ridiculous, but the sad thing is, I would spend all my money on it if I could. T_T
