How was the latter proven true? I'm pretty sure Colosseum and XD didn't outsell the main games.
And for the former, remember: there is a possibility that the game will look worse.
True. I was trying to think of a more modern example, but I was in a hurry so I wound up going with one of my favorite punching bags.
Anyway, the point is that 3D is not inherently better than 2D.
Also, bear in mind that Game Freak has made exactly one 3D game ever, and it looks terrible:
^Eh, doesn't look that bad to me.
I hate the Battle Subway. Holy crap, the rubberbanding on the AI is insane!
^^ I don't think that is that bad.
@Battle Subway: It is a tradition of the Battle Tower/Facility. A shitty tradition though. Which is why I don't touch that crap at all.
Guys guys guys
I just thought of an incredibly original and innovative discussion
What if Pokemon were real
The Battle Tower actually made use of a fucking glitch to hit Wondertombs and Wondereyes. By putting Fire Fang on Crawdaunt
Crawdaunt doesn't learn Fire Fang
The game isn't even trying to hide its cheating at points (mind you that case requires you to cheat first but still...)
^ 8D FLYGON!
^ Saying no at the idea of a Ghost/Dark type with Wonderguard, or at the names Wondertomb and Wondereye?
The names.
Although that kind of hacking is sort of lame, too. But mostly just the names.
Easier to say Wondertomb and Wondereye than "A Spiritomb or Sableye with Wonderguard"
Wondertomb:
Wondereye:
That is what I think of, respectively, when I hear those terms.
>Flygon
>not Kingdra
What
how is that even POSSIBLE outside of cheating and simulators
do you cheat
RNG abuse, or real good luck.
You can breed for good IVs too.
Breeding, RNG abuse, insane luck. There's various factors. Now if it was shiny, I would be calling shenanigans.
Maybe not anymore I wouldn't.
In BW2 you can get the chance of getting a shiny all the way down to 1 in 1024.
Some people like to do these things all day.
Alternately, you can get a Pokemon with the egg moves/IV's you want to pass on to the Shiny Pokemon, then breed it with a Pokemon from a different country, increasing your chances of getting a shiny hatchling to 1/1366 in Black/White.
Even so, assuming you are looking for a PokeRadar Pokemon, it's fairly easy to get a Shiny then. Take a lot longer to get one with set IV's, but a lot shorter than you seem to be assuming.
Also, apparently the Shine Charm increases the chance of getting a Shiny from breeding two Pokemon from different regions from 1/1366 to 1/1024. Sweet.
Right, that's what I said.
Well anyways
if Pokemon were real?
How would the internet be more terrifying?
I can go on and on
