WHY IS THERE EVEN A RUN BUTTON IN THIS GAME IF IT NEVER WORKS
It's based on your Pokemon's Speed relative to theirs, I believe.
oh.
Also pretty sure my party's going to get swept by a random Pokeranger. Because she has an Excadrill and my only pokemon who knows water moves has fainted.
You can't release Pokemon in Conquest
...Well then... Bye bye two slots that could have gone to Eeveelutions... (Mind you, Misdreavus and its 70% link IS pretty good...)
Yeah this is just fucking infuriating.
I get a random triple battle with a guy whose Pokemon are all 5 levels higher than mine and now I get swept by a random Ranger. This is fun.
You have finished Black/White's main game before, yes?
Twice. I don't recall having nearly this much trouble with it.
Actually, I was mostly fine until I got to Chargestone cave.
Yes, but what I was going to say was that it's not as much trouble as dealing with Black and White's post-game.
A question to those who have Black 2/White 2: At what point in the story do you get that lv. 35 Volcarona?
After you get the fifth badge, I believe.
@Icalasari:
After you link with a new Pokemon in Conquest, and your warlord has his/her max number of Pokemon, then at the end of the round, it would ask you which Pokemon you want the warlord to drop from his party.
Also, Pugilis is shit easy with two ghost types and some fire types
Murder the grass monkey and then station a ghost at either end of the arena
Bam. Instant. Win
I keep forgetting that Jiggly doesn't have awesome range >.<
guess who forgot to save after running through the nightmare gauntlet of Chargestone Cave yesterday?
>wild Nosepass appeared
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?
Okay seriously what is up with this goddamn Magmar.
I can't hit it and it keeps one-shotting Pokemon only a level or two below it that it has no type advantage over (and in one case a type disadvantage).
Computer
you are hax.
stop hax.
^Is it a wild one? It could be touched by the Gods. Or just ordinary because Magmar is kickass like that.
No, the Ace Trainer at the end of Chargestone Cave.
The battle was literally this.
"Magmar used Fire Punch!"
"Critical Hit!"
"Psyduck Fainted!"
"Magmar used Fire Punch!"
"Critical Hit!"
"Umbreon used Take Down!"
"Foe Magmar avoided the attack"
ad infinitum. It took down my Pignite which is a fellow fire Pokemon, in two swings. TWO. And my Pignite is the same level as it.
And I can't exactly go back and try again because my DS' battery just died.
So each of Eevee's evolutions are special
So what happens after Drakeon or whatever they call it?
Simple
Each Eeveelution evolves into a Pokemon for each physical type
Rock
Poison
Ground
Flying
Bug
Normal
Ghost
Fighting
Steel
Starting with Vaporeon's 2nd stages:
Water/Rock
Water/Poison
Water/Ground
Water/Flying
Water/Bug
Water/Normal
Water/Ghost
Water/Fighting
Water/Steel
Now Flareon:
Fire/Rock
Fire/Poison
Fire/Ground
And so on
Until every Eeveelution is covered
82 new evolutions, including Drakeon itself
91 including the others + Eevee
It will be called Eevee Version
Then they introduce quadruple-typing.
^aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
^^ And 3rd and 4th stage evolutions!
Eevee evolves into Vaporeon.
Vaporeon then evolves in Ground-Vaporeon.
Ground-Vaporeon then evolves into Rock-Ground-Vaporeon.
Rock-Ground-Vaporeon then evolves into Poison-Rock-Ground-Vaporeon.
^ Nope. Goes physical (normal type Eevee) - special - physical - special - physical
Wait, how many Pokemon would that add, anyways, since types can't be repeated?
No, then there's a split.
There's Physical Poison-Rock-Ground-Vaporeon, and Special Poison-Rock-Ground-Vaporeon, thereby doubling the number of Eevees available.
Ok, let's see here
9 * 9 * 8 * 8 + 1
5185 members in the Eevee family then
Somebody check my math?
Oh
Well fuck that, you can do the math yourself then! >
It's fairly simple.
There's Eevee.
There's 17 types.
Then, there's 17 times 17 types, minus 17 because you can't get Steel-Steel types. So that's 272.
Then, there's 17 times 17 times 17 types, minus 34. 4913 So that's 4879.
Then, there's 17 times 17 times 17 times 17 types, minus 51, times two. So that's 83,470, times two, which is 166,940.
So all up, there would be around 170,000 Eevees, assuming my maths isn't wrong anywhere within there.
For added fun - they all have 3 abilities per evolution.
