  • I'm a damn twisted person
The Medals Box. I only got the splash achievement because assist spamming.
  • a little muffled

Bleh, I need to beat Black and then play Black 2, seriously.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

I will never understand this series' obsession with stupid side things.

It's making me watch a movie about people having a Pokèmon battle -_-

  • No rainbow star

At least in Black 2 White 2, you can't fault Juniper for asking if you're a boy or a girl

I mean, that male character is more androgynous than a Final Fantasy character

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

And now it's not letting me leave until I star in a movie.

Why is this series trying so hard not to be fun?

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

But there was like, an entire one side-thing in Black that you were forced to do?

And that was like, drag two accessories onto a Pokemon, then you could leave forever.

So I'm not sure how the entire series has an obsession with it...

Also, I'm fairly sure that the movies were advertised pretty heavily with the game, being like, on the box and everything.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

I know, it's just that it took way longer than I remember anything else like that taking.

That doesn't make it not stupid.

Well, I won't have it until tomorrow, but... eh, I'll wait to comment until I've played up to that.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Basically, the way it works is: you're put in a battle, with a script. As a reward when it's over, you're able to watch a movie that replays the scripted battle you just had to go through.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Yes, but I'll wait until I see how it fits in with the plot, how it fits in with the game overall, if you can influence scripts and stuff later, etc.

  • If that don't work, use more gun.

Hmm, really? I know several people that enjoyed making the movies, and actually stopped playing the main game, just to make some more.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

It doesn't fit in with the plot. Some lady grabs you, leads you into a movie theater and makes you watch a battle. Then she leads you into a studio and won't let you out until you do a scripted battle. Then you leave and based on a quick search of Bulbapedia, you never even have to set foot on that landmass again.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    And...the game just crashed.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Because as we all know, Bulbapedia keeps a detailed track of the plot.

I think I'll wait 'til I've played through myself.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Well, no, but it does mention stuff like "when you visit this place again later, there are these items and battles."

  • If that don't work, use more gun.

You know, despite Bulbapedia being one of the most professional fan wikis I have ever seen, I find it hilarious that they have an entire section dedicated to SHIPPING.

Well, no, but it does mention stuff like "when you visit this place again later, there are these items and battles."

It also doesn't mention shit like "And when you visit this island after you beat the island's gym, you meet Suicune but you don't fight him 'coz he just runs away."

If you get a strange ending, then the Pokemon you used to star in it will recieve a new entry animation
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

^Huh. That actually is kind of interesting. What's the new animation look like?

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Just got my third badge. Shiny Purrloin is now a shiny Liepard. And I hadn't seen a Liepard before, so my Pokedex entry for it is shiny.

    Definitely not gay.

    @PETA bullshit

OH SHIT IT'S TEAM PLASMA! EVERYONE HIT THE DECK!

It's the Pokemon fandom. Seriously, what did you expect?

Okay, so I was watching a friend play through Black 2 and... WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO THE BATTLE MUSIC FROM THE LAST GAMES!? Seriously, they're really grating on the ears now! They managed to fuck up EVERY remix in this game. (Cept for Team Plasma's theme.) I think I'm going to play with the volume off when I get this game. Seriously composers, a little less techno please. And why are half the songs so off key? (The wild battle music and the "I'm winning the gym battle" music for one.)

A shame, cause the new songs are actually pretty good. Ugh, the soundtrack is a definite step down from BW's.

  • Definitely not gay.

@Lai: Eh, whatever. It's your money, dude.

Still dumping Snivy because Lucario > Snivy (except in terms of style)

  • No rainbow star

^^ I quite like the remixes actually. More than even the BW music

    Clockwork:

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    Huh, not bad.

    Does it stack with shininess?

  • No rainbow star

^ From what I've read, sparkles overwrite each other

N's Pokesparkles are above this, and I'm betting Shiny beats both

The only remix I will agree with Marioguy on is the Johto Gym Leader music. I disagree with you about them fucking up the remixes for the most part.

    Kanto mixes are my favorites.

My team is in the early 20s now, I'm at the 4th gym and my Servine now has 6666 EXP points.

@Eelektross: By the way, I have both.

    Huh? -looks on Youtube-

-sees several remixes for each gen-

... Oh. I was mainly talking about the Unova remixes when I said that. I wasn't aware that they made remixes for the other gens.

I really hate the new wild battle music though. It's so off key.

  • Oh. That.

I kind of get what you're coming from. It just feels off.

I don't see why they can't just re-use the original BW music.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Probably because they want the games to feel as fresh as they can be.

You're presumably catching the same Pokemon you've caught before, you're visiting many of the same places, you're meeting some of the same people- they will likely take the chance to mix up what they can, to keep it from going stale.
