Ah. I can't remember where they're found, actually.
Fairly early on, I think.
EDIT: Yeah, in the desert. So more than half the game before that.
^^In the desert route.
Regardless, one of things I really like about B/W is that it's really easy to get a Pokemon up to the rest of you team's level via the Audino exploit, it's even easier for a Fighting-type like Scraggy.
Yeah, I know; I just didn't want to bother.
Incidentally, is it an exploit if it's really obviously deliberate?
IJBM: People saying things like "Focus Blast is a guaranteed 2HKO".
No it isn't, you twit. 49% chance of 2HKO isn't even all that good all considered.
On the plus side, I caught a Zangoose, which is apparently the perfect pokemon for catching fleeing pokemon, what with Taunt and False Swipe on the same moveset.
I think there's something that can get Mean Look and False Swipe, but I can't remember what.
Smeargle?
But Zangoose also learns Close Combat so we're besties now.
^ BUT CAN IT ALSO LEARN CLOSE
COMBAT?! Waaaaaait . . .
I'm also pretty sure Zangoose is faster, so I don't have to level it up as much before it outspeeds the pokemon I need I to outspeed.
^^Well, yes, but I think I used something else to catch all the fleeing stuff in HeartGold. Could be wrong.
Veekun tells me that Armaldo could get Block by tutor and False Swipe by TM in HGSS.
Full list btw.
Edit: Checking now, a bunch of those require BW2 move tutors. In BW1, your options are Absol and Pawniard/Bisharp, both of which get Mean Look by breeding and False Swipe by TM.
Zangoose is also level 56 already, and almost caught up with the rest of the party.
I think I used Absol.
Gallade can have Hypnosis, False Swipe, and I THINK Mean Look
Veekun says it can get Mean Look and False Swipe. Even though it doesn't show up on a search for Pokémon that can get Mean Look and False Swipe...
I'm guessing this is because Mean Look is an egg move, so technically Ralts learns Mean Look and Gallade learns False Swipe and neither one learns both, and yet Ralts's egg moves do show up on Gallde's page on Veekun.
And now that I've run into a level 59 Mienshao (in other words, I don't have to take the time to raise it up again), Conkeldurr has been demoted to Strength Slave.
Krabby and Jellicent should be all you need for HM slaves really.
Well, in Conkeldurr's case, it was more because I needed something that could learn Strength at some point and I didn't want to go to the trouble of going back to a Pokecenter to get something else out of the PC.
EDIT: And I finally got my Plume Fossil converted. I have an Archen now! . . . with a Timid nature! It's bad enough that that happened to my Conkeldurr, but come on. Ah, well, I'll probably still use it. I dunno, I'm not sure if I want to replace Krookodile with it, especially since, like, I'd have to level it up from 25. Maybe I'll just finally go and box Samurott (who, conveniently enough, has an Adamant nature). Hmm . . .
Breaking news: Nintendo reveals something we've known about since late 2010.
Archeops is all caught up, and it rocks. Now to catch a Misdreavus! And then I'll have to use Poke Transfer to get a Gible in here, because fuck yeah Garchomp.
like hell a Pokecenter isn't the right place to be riding a bike, you frigid bitch. >:[
EDIT: And apparently taunt doesn't prevent pokemon from fleeing like I thought it might.
? How did you think Taunt would do that? Mean Look does that.
Well, I've seen an Absol, so I guess I can raise one up, even though I think it's a goofy pokekon.
Spoilers for the Champion battle in B2W2
God damn it's like fighting on Rainbow Road...
Oh, yeah, so my team is completely assembled, if not at the desired levels. Darmanitan level 64, and Mienshao, Mismagius, Starmie, Archeops, and Garchomp level 63.
Rotom-C rules.
