The Virulent Hatred Thread
Comments
Did you know that most of the Elfen Lied YMMV page was made by somebody who absolutely hates Elfen Lied, and made it his mission to get everyone else to hate it too?
And yet another thing. People who complain about Valentine's Day. Shut the fuck up about it please. The real reason you want Valentine's Day to be taken down and disregarded as a holiday is because you are such a negative fuck that people don't want to spend it with you, or you are too busy being a reclusive little spider and hiding from everyone, and you mock those people and cut them down for enjoying Valentine's Day with their dates.
Please stop ruining it for everyone with your complaining online and your vandalization of the decorations made in hotels and restaurants just because you want to be an edgy bandwagon jumper. If you really don't want to be lonely, buy a bouquet of flowers for the lonely guy next door, and ask him out. There. Now neither of you are alone. You don't even have to have sex. You could play Monopoly. You could buy a wig and cute dress and roleplay a dinner in his house. Hell, you can even try to beat Embodiment of Scarlet Devil for all I care (that game is fucking hard when not playing on easy).
There are hundreds of things for you guys to do together besides ruining Valentine's Day for everyone else. Don't go to hotels and bang on the doors when people are trying to have sex or sleep. That's immature as hell, and it's really annoying, and an unneeded distraction for an otherwise romantic getaway. Don't throw the pink confetti in the swimming pool. Don't dump the candies in the ash tray. Don't write "suck a dick" in all of the Valentine's Day cards in the Ben Franklin store.
I don't even know why people dedicate so much time to things they hate. I wish they would just get laid and leave everyone alone.
Regardless, there's far, far more to Touhou than porn, and Danbooru's porn is overrepresented, regardless of series.
A lot of pictures tagged "Questionable" would be definitely considered "Explicit" on most websites, and a lot of things deemed "Safe" are still pretty NSFW.
Why, I may never know.
^I think I saw that on why would you draw that before it got shut down.
Danbooru being the best. Gelbooru sometimes doesn't suck though. There's also the Sankaku Complex one. And Zerochan. Most others that I've seen aren't so great.
What does booru mean anyway?
^They are imageboards.
I'm not sure if "booru" alone means anything, but either way, other Danbooru-style image boards derive their name from Danbooru's name.
You could argue that maybe I shouldn't talk about it so much, at least, but even still I don't regard it as any different from any other paraphilia. As long as the person isn't acting on it, there's nothing wrong with it.
Eh... yeah. I believe it. I think I'm pretty boring anyway though, so it's more a matter of choosing to be boring normally, or choosing to be boring talking about something I at least don't get to talk about in real life much.
That said, I kind of want to tone it down at least a bit... but I think at this point it's like my default way of acting on TV Tropes and here, so it's kind of hard to change.
And...
Eh, fine. I disagree with you, but I do think that that position makes some sense. It's not a position I'm really willing to adopt, for various reasons, but it's understandable anyway.
When I first saw this thread's title, it reminded me of a documentary I just saw called The Anatomy of Hate. It covered the religious wars in the Middle East, a group of American neo-nazis, the WBC, and a bunch of other nasty things. It left me in shock, and fairly enraged at how much hatred human beings are able to harbor for each other.
The worst thing is, I already knew that all of these things existed and had a pretty good idea of what their actions entailed, so why did seeing it all on film suddenly make me feel so bad?
