Appearance Improvement Thread
Somebody PLEASE come up with a better name. I'll edit my post to the better title ASAP
Anyways, I'll start this off with my picture (I used the trick where I have the screen facing the mirror so I actually take a picture of myself instead of my reflection, if that matters any):
Main concern is acne (my hair is covering up some of the worse stuff), so tips for that would be great. Any other advice for how to improve my face would be appreciated as well (my body is a mess but I'm working on improving that slowly)

I don't think the shadow above your lip quite suits you. Also, tuck your hair behind your ear, it looks messy as is.

Ah, this picture was taken not long ago tonight. That shadow is from a week of no classes and I don't usually keep it as it usually stops at pedo stache. I'll make sure to be more diligent about shaving it though

I'll bite, though, I will say that this is not an accurate depiction of me as my beard has yet to return. As such I'll probably be posting in here again a week from now, assuming this thread is still kickin'.

Legionnaire: Get a new hair style, shave the stubble (your face is too round for me to see a beard reasonably working)
Something else as well is giving it an immature feel. Not sure what though. Maybe take another picture with a more bland expression? Could be the expression you're using is throwing me off
Maybe it's the way his head is tilted that throws me off about the glasses.
And the pursing lips. I think that's messing up a lot of the frame of reference as well

Yeah that's my equivalent of a "what the fuck is this guy saying" face.
I'd take another one but I can't be stuffed reinstalling the webcam software, and the in-built webcam is terrible.
Also, quiet all of you, a beard very much suits me. Unfortunately the only image I have that has the beard in it is my Jensen outfit, which I don't want to share. So wait a week :V

Get rid of the beard unless you plan on growing your hair out a bit more, and get smaller glasses.

I'd say grow the hair at the front out a tiny bit more, and get rid of the soulpatch.

Although I suppose another good question to ask is: does a hint of facial hair, like in that picture, suit me? And would I look good with a mustache/goatee combo like DonZabu has (but darker)? That one's hypothetical, I think; I don't know how long it'll be before my hair grows in like that, if it ever does.
