My suggestion for the mana base would be to not use pain lands that hurt you every time you use them.

Also, no basic lands as well. Running WUBRG requires you to play always a land that produces at least 2 colours of mana.

I'd get rid of one of the creature tutors and put it Demonic Tutor. Or even go and get rid of the other two and put in Demonic Collusion and Diabolic Tutor, as they're incredibly versatile and allow you to fetch any card according to your needs at the time, unlike the other ones, which are restrained by types.

More counter spell (Including the original one) is always good. Same goes for graveyard recursion (Patriarch's Bidding is great in tribal decks, as you get to choose the type of card you want to bring back. There's Praetor's Council too, which sets your hand's limit to "Non existent")

Genesis Wave would also be great, as you get to put any number of permanents.

Asceticism would protect your slivers and allow them to regenerate, if the correspondent sliver isn't around.

That's all I can think of.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    what is wubrg

And I have Demonic Tutor as well. Can't have two of the same types, remember.

Although yes, I need more basic lands
  • You can change. You can.
White, blue, black, red, green. Basically, a deck with all colours.

You have demonic tutor, but you can also have demonic collussion and diabolic tutor, as they're the same type of cards, but they don't have the same name (Which is the restriction under which Commander works.) You can still have those three cards.

nononono, less basic lands. More dual lands

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
But where does the U come in

    I can't get more dual lands I don't know what they are ;-;
  • You can change. You can.
    U = Blue
The reason for this is because Black and Blue start with the same letter, so in abbrevations, they use U.

http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Dual_lands <-- You can find all the dual lands ever in here.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
That's stupid, why isn't it an A then!

Bleh, I'll do that later, spent too much time magicking already
  • You can change. You can.
I just found out I can kill creatures with X/X (Where X is the number of [land type]) with Vision Charm after a match with lechuck.

    Korlash looks meaningless now.

  • There's also Mox Diamond, Gemstone Mine, Pentad Prism and maybe Grand Coliseum.

Also, if you put away the basic lands, don't forget to also get rid of Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse and whatever other basic-land specific card there is.

    You can change. You can.
oh yeah, Evolving Winds and Terramorphic expanse are limited by that. There are a lot of fetchlands to make up for them, though.

ETA: And sorceries as well. Like Reap And Sow.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
IMO, all sliver decks should have 4 Gemhides, at all times. Because whee, rainbow.
  • You can change. You can.
thank God for EDH's rule of no repeats, then.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
    Because EDH is silly. :P
  • You can change. You can.
It's OK, Alice, you're silly too. it's why we keep you around.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
    ^^ Yay! Someone who agrees.

I still want to see if I can pull off regular turn =<3 wins with my Elfdrazi deck. So far I've won a game on turn four.
  • You can change. You can.
I still love the format because it allows me to play the big cards without feeling like a dick or as if I was wasting a slot.

Anyway, I'm bored and feeling murderous. Up for a game, Everest?
  • Has friends besides tanks now
I would, but I'm at dad's and have to post from a phone. If you're still on later, sure.

Guess who's back and ready to test another deck?

EDIT: Ooh, I like Chord of Calling. Maybe not.

EDIT 2: Nothing quite like finishing a game by going from zero creatures to twelve after being completely neutralized for most of it.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
So, since a match I had a couple of days ago against Juan, I've been thinking about the two Locus lands, Cloudpost and Glimmerpost, although mostly the former. As Juan will be able to tell you, I make heavy use of these in my Myr deck, alongside Vesuva.

The thing about these is that they carry obscene mana ramp potential. If you luck out and pull 4 Cloudposts in 4 turns, that's a turn 4 Emrakul, which is pretty much shorthand for "You're utterly screwed". If you somehow manage to get 4 Cloudposts, 4 Glimmerposts, and 4 Cloudpost!Vesuvas on the field, that's 100 mana a turn. I'm not sure what you would do with 100 mana, but... *shrug* So, yeah, these kinda break colourless decks wide open.

I can do it in two turns.

Yeah, but what if someone pulls Counterspell on you? :P

  • You can change. You can.
then i smack them and put cheaty face in the field while they're in pain >:|

I've played Emrakul in three, without giving up 3/4 of my life in the process and having only eight cards to do it with.
  • You can change. You can.
The time you did it you didn't get the hardcast benefit, though.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
True. The deck isn't based around hardcasting the Eldrazi (though it's certainly possible, if not quick), but playing them in a timely fashion.

This idea is actually a top-tier deck in Modern, called "Twelvepost". Amulet of Vigor is also a key card, to negate the drawbacks from Cloudpost and Vesuva.
  • You can change. You can.
I thought the locus lands were banned in Modern?
  • Oh, right.

Well, bannings are pretty much synonymous with top-tier decks in Modern, anyway.
  • You can change. You can.
So top tier that it's impossible to play.
  • ...crap, why do I keep playing banned things?
