    Cue-bey
I would whine that I can't delete my account but since I probably have like 20 total posts that haven't been deleted, I'm not too worried.
  • Deleting your account doesn't delete your posts, anyway.

Just so everyone is clear on that.
  • Poot dispenser here
Yeah, to everyone else, it switches you to Generictroper.png.
  • You know somehow skimming this makes me feel like quitting there.

And that's weird, because I don't dislike the place enough to do so.
  • There were times in this discussion when I felt like quitting there, but I figure there were too many people I like there who I don't want to lose contact with. (You included.)
  • All things considered, I stay there for the people, not much else. It's easier communicating with a certain someone there (though we could make do with e-mails), I quite enjoy the Mass Effect 3 thread and there's several people that I have no other form of communication with. And an RP.

Really, were it not for the ME3 thread I'd probably just go.

If only I knew how to work with QR codes, I might put in some link to, say, one of my favorite shows or something.
  • There are QR code generators, you know?

    Goddamit. I should've expected that.
  • You can change. You can.
Where can I read/decipher this codes?
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    Just google "QR code reader."

Apparently, INUH used that site to scan a QR code avatar that someone in the Minecraft thread was using and it somehow lead to a website that presented a security risk.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Oh, yeah. I remember that. Did the mods ever do anything about it?
  • Poot dispenser here
I don't think so. He does have a new one, though, I think.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Well, if it's gone, that's fine, then, I guess.

No, she doesn't, but I do.

@Shlap: Does she even have a mother?

    @Vandro: Deconstruction, I think.

^^^Honestly, given that someone's demonstrated that the definition of deconstruction TV Tropes uses predates the site by at least 10 years, I'd say it's probably valid to call the trope that, as long as the article makes clear that it's not the only definition.

    You can change. You can.
I just read the essay linked, and unless TvT's def of the term became "Lolol, taking your arguments bit by bit and piece by piece and examining them throughly" then I don't see it.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    > provide alternate meanings of the word 'deconstruction'

    > people point out that there's alternate names that could carry exactly the same meaning as Deconstruction does without having multiple possible meanings attached

    > people provide links to essays that support this multiple-interpretations-of-the-world thing

    > everybody says fuck renaming, let's just clear up the article

    > the name of the trope still carries the multiple meanings

    > fuck renaming

    > name of trope still carries multiple meanings

    > there are terms that can carry exactly the implications we're looking for without the multiple meanings potential confusion

    > fuck renaming

    Whatever.
