I am not ready to quit TV Tropes yet

It's like the Theory of Communism argument, Good in theory, Impractical in practice.
Tropes in real life?
Did you know there's archived tropes for Mirror Universe?
~facepalm~
The effort needed to remove those is almost balking to a lot of people, we have a whole lot of people already putting their hand into removing the bad ones and yet they keep cropping up.
How do you suggest a solution for this other than moving Troper tales off site?
when you get another person in that thread, a new poster, who asks "Why
can't we save it, Or It's not that bad under the new system" Despite
this claim Already being answered dozens of times by dozens of other people with mountains of posts, don't tell me, because I won't be surprised.
...Wait, I think I just answered my own question.
Also, is it wrong that I'm kinda losing respect for Madrugada for
defending TT?
You are not alone. In fact, I lost a lot of respect for her.
I'm not confident in anything anymore.
Also, the Troper Tales not being analogous to IJBM due one being a namespace and the other a forum actually works against Troper Tales, as a forum requires a larger active userbase to grow than a wiki, and that Troper Tales' content is being preserved. That, and IJBM's deletion was done with the expectation that it would die for good.
But on that note, if Troper Tales is deleted, may I ask that we don't gloat about it?
Why do I have the feeling that you will do that anyway...
To be honest, I was thinking of that myself. Although I won't do that. It went good as long as I could ignore it, but now that there is the possibility of TT's deletion, it's... I don't know how I should put it. I'm not as pessimistic as Juan, but if TT doesn't get cut, it will a heavy blow against TV Tropes. There is the very real possibility that more people will wander off. Central Avenue going would be... quite heavy. I always, since I began to visit the forum, associated him with TV Tropes. And Juan going isn't an appealing thought either.
Yeah, I won't immediately leave if TT stays, but it becomes more likely that I do that sometime in the future. In that case, I would leave IJBM too, since the two are still linked in my mind, but considering my past experiences with "leaving IJBM"...
On the other hand, if TT gets cut, there will probably be some people who will leave TV Tropes, just because of that. In that case, I can only say "Good riddance!"
But on that note, if Troper Tales is deleted, may I ask that we don't
gloat about it?
Sorry, but I can't promise you anything. Maybe I'll try to stay on the "grim satisfaction" level, but, again, no promises.
I still can't wrap around my head why deleting IJBM was a good idea
It was because it created a lot of extra work for the mods. Which raises the question why TT was allowed to stay (probably because nobody actually did any work there, since it's futile anyway).
