Doesn't seem like the particularly vocal type.
Fair enough.
Otaku at their best.
Somehow I doubt any of these were a major problem in Japanese theaters showing Madoka.

You know, I was actually hoping it wasn't ironic, because K-On surely must have some points in which its stronger than LotGH. The animation obviously comes to mind, and I assume that, given that the series is SOL based on a core cast (conditioned by the fact that people here who're into that kind of show generally praise K-On), it must have stronger character development.
And Legend of The Galactic heroes did have some fantastic tea and booze moments.
SOL?
Slice-of-life.
That.
Ah.
The only acronym I usually see abbreviated to SOL... didn't fit there.
Shouldn't someone produce the Anime Then Anime Now image right now?
(I know this isn't the one you meant...)
All I can glean from this image is that we have moved from Red Riding Hood cosplay to (presumably gay) sailor cosplay.
is this what the image means
I was thinking on the Oberstein and the K-On! Brunette one.
...so is the point to highlight the difference or mock the lack of it again?
You're a smart boy, I'm sure you can figure it out.
Technically, these ones that were posted here aren't actually mocking the lack of difference in anime between "then" and "now." They're just mocking how easy it is to cherry-pick examples to make whatever point you want, in reference to the original "anime now, anime then" images that basically boil down to "anime was good when I started watching it but now it all sucks."
I'm not sure.
There's always this one though:
What's....?
is that second one a remake or something?
Misato redid part of her apartment I see.

I don't really care about Evangelion.
You don't say?
Those are some very philosophical cows.
I wonder if they would have blue blood.
So, trying to catch up on all the currently-airing anime I'm watching, since I've gotten pretty far behind on some shows.
Then I ended up watching episode 2 of Little Busters. I seriously can't deal with this. I don't know how, but somehow Key (or perhaps J.C. Staff, since I don't know how the VN compares) managed to create a character that is so aggressively trying-to-be cute that even I can't tolerate her.
For some reason I've never been really entertained by idols dancing.
Then again, I've never been really entertained by dancing in general.
I personally make some dancing-like motions when listening to some music, but I don't think I look particularly awesome when doing them.
