Yes, but a robot does not make a mecha show either.
Vagueness, vagueness everywhere.
All of them.
get out
That it does. How many robots are there in Dai-Guard? Two maybe three?
All of the bad ones or all are bad?
I suppose that Digimon is then a mecha show, because many of the Digimon within it are robots?
Depends, are the digimon manned? Because that's the point of mecha, manned robots, and when I said mecha I said manned robots. To mean other types of robots is another thing.
Every single anime adaptation before Fate/Zero? At least, even Type-Moon fans agree with that. Not having any experience of my own with the franchise I can't really say about anything else.
I was asking which had hit the jackpot. But I guess the anime and movie of FSN did well, but what about Kara no Kyoukai? that's before Fate/Zero.
Ah, yeah, right. I read your post wrong. In any case, yeah FSN did very well and even Tsukihime actually sold a lot (not "hit the jackpot," but almost 14k sales is definitely quite good).
Also, replying to your earlier comment, @DYRE, I thought by "military" you were thinking of a military setting. (And I just thought of Stratos 4 as well for that category.)
Though apparently, what you meant by "military" was "contains references to real-life military things such as weapons and military vehicles".
Everything Crimson said about Motohiro's moe ban. Everything.
@Alkthash: I watched the first episode yesterday. I wasn't sure what to make of it, in that I liked a lot about it but felt like I was missing something, but I think that was part of the point. I have a high tolerance for technobabble, and strong character writing and nice animation are pretty important to me, so... yes, I think I'll keep at this one.
Guy, guys.
I thought we already agreed Batman and Punisher were the moe-est of the moe blobs out there.

"One click for automatic. Two for semi. I hope Mikhail Kalishnikov-sempai notices how much I'm using his guns to get rid of all these bakas this year, uggguuuu."
This thread has gone into some terrible, terrible places...
not "kawaii"?
10/10 pure poetry
Oh my god I just got the best idea ever.
Would someone--any one of you--be so kind as to direct me to a place where I can download a Punisher comic--again, any Punisher comic?
Just follow the same steps you do when trying to acquire a movie/song/tv show through "perfectly legal means",
For actually legal means, check out Comixology. They should have all of Rucka's most recent run which has been really good.
I actually use Comixology for More Than Meets The Eye, so that works.
In the meantime, quick and dirty (note the total lack of font-matching) but it works:
He's needs some blush stickers.
Also, mind if I post that on tumblr?
He does, but to my credit I literally installed Paint.net yesterday and have no idea how to do anything on it yet.
I'd be flattered actually, but credit it to SuperLazuli if you would (I have my own tumblr--Lazulian Philosophy in D. Minor--but I never use it)
The best would be if you put a little pink coloured pencil squiggle across his face and surrounded him with bishie sparkles...
I am working on an improved version right now.
I might do more of these if I can really get the hang of it.
hahahahahaha
muahahahahahahahaha
BUWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!
what have you done
Kami-sama's work. >: ) *applauds*
