  • Also how do I level up smithing easily now without using the Oghma Infinitum since the Iron Daggers exploit was patched out (WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY)

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

I make and improve Dwarven Shields.

  • A Mind You Do NOT Want To Read

From what I've read, Silver Necklace does a better job than anything else right now.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Silver Ingots are also annoying to find/make.

  • I have Transmute Ore. Thanks, Fuschlatz.

Cold coffee is very strange to drink. Not iced coffee, I mean, just cold.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

I have Transmute Ore. Thanks, Fuschlatz.

You can make Gold stuff at that point >:/

A Mind You Do NOT Want To Read

Indeed, the Transmute Ore spell makes a big difference early on. Especially since there's a guaranteed copy in Halted Stream Camp, just north of Whiterun.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

One thing I should note is that Tempering gives you more EXP than Forging when you get up to Epic-level Tempering.

An effiecient method of raising your smithing level quickly is to go to Halted Stream Camp northwest of Whiterun. Inside, the spell tome Transmute Mineral Ore can be found, along with several iron ore veins. By transmuting the ore from mining into silver and then gold, jewelry can be mass produced. Adding jewels increases the value of the item produced, so this should be done where possible.

  • ^^I'm not at epic-level tempering yet.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Also note that that article still claims that iron daggers are the fastest way to level Smithing.

The note at the end is more true.

I'll just note that I get more experience out of tempering dwarven items per ingot than I do forging.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

    • 25 + 3 * item value0.65 base XP for constructing an item.

    • 25 + 8 * item value0.6 base XP for improving an item.

Because of the flat 25 factor and the diminishing returns from the exponent, it looks like Iron is still king for XP per gold spent, and tempering is better than constructing

IJBM: when I get sent back to a dungeon I've already cleared to find an item for a quest.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Welp. Just got off a two-and-a-half hour phone conversation with the same friend from last night.

If it's reaffirmed anything, it's that I absolutely suck at conversations. There ended up being like, minute-and-a-half-long awkward silences, all the time.

  • You can change. You can.

maybe it's just your friend being weird and stuff?

also, looking at last night's incident, the fuck were we on

did gmh secretly slip drugs into our drinks

No, she's fairly normal (as far as anime fans go). Although she's about as socially skilled as me, soooo.

In fact, she's also pretty much in the same boat as me when it comes to friends.

welp, if anything, it's reaffirmed why I don't want to go talk to people in real life.

So, for a change of pace, when it came time to kill Grelod the King I attempted to call forth Unlimited Blade Works and go Archer on that bitch's ass.

This didn't work out as well as I'd hoped, since whenever I activated the Reality Marble she was incinerated.

    feels bad

Assuming I would incur a bounty if anyone at the orphanage knew it was me who killed her, I quietly entered the building and crouched next to the door between the dining room and the mass bedroom, staying just out of sight as I listened to Grelod's condescending croak of a voice. As soon as Constance walked right past me and got into her bed, I walked around to the far corner of the dining table, pulled out my bow and shot Grelod in the head the instant I saw her. Having woken everyone up, I stayed crouched in the corner until I could get back to the door without anyone seeing me.

It wasn't until much later that I realised this particular quest could have been a lot easier than I made it.

  • I just cut her face off the first time.

  • Has friends besides tanks now

Oh, yeah, Grelod. I just punched her in the face, and she died even though I didn't boost unarmed attacks at all.

  • And that's Astrid gone. Now to go and messily slaughter the rest of them ^_^

It's really annoying there's no option to smash the Thieves Guild and get rid of Maven Black-Briar as well. I don't want to have to join the Thieves Guild and break character just so I can deal with those fucking Unusual Gems/get a word of power.

  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
I need to get back to Skyrim. I didn't finish, like, anything.

to any of you assholes that were following my story, i actually wrote another chapter after like three months

    OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Wrong. Buy or mine Iron ore, then transmute it into gold ore with that one unique spell (which can be found in a bandit camp/iron mine due North of Whiterun). Make amulets, then enchant and sell them. Levels four skills. Five if you're doing your own soultrapping.

So it looks like I'm going to be down here in Jamaica for even longer than I originally thought.

We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year

Long (loooooong) story short, my parents made a long series of fuckups while trying to make me a permanent resident, so now I have to come to the U.S. Embassy in Jamaica for an absurdly in-depth interview process.

And in the middle of my senior year in high school, ugh >_<

  • You can change. You can.

Ugh, been there, man. The whole Cuba thing fucked up my studies pretty tightly and I didn't have a choice either. Best of luck, bro.
