    Spent the last five hours playing Spider-man: Edge of Time. It's the rare game that is only five hours long and still feels padded. 

    I have a feeling Peter David was in the script room with a broadsword threatening anyone who dared add more plot elements.

    I always half-ass my closing paragraphs, to be honest. Usually by that time I'm just glad to have the majority of the work done and I just want to be done with the damn thing.

    So I watched the first episode of Working!!, and so far it just seems fairly dull to me.

    Is this one of those series that takes a few episodes to pick up, or is it mainly more of the same from here on out?

    It's pretty much a Slice-of-life work com. There's some romance stuff later on. The second episode introduces one of the show's primary conflicts though, so watch that first and then see if it's still not your thing.

    Honestly, I don't think Working's all that great, but I'm allowed guilty pleasures.

    I can understand a person not liking rabbits, but how can they say rabbits are annoying and in the same breath say that they love ferrets?

    I find both animals great pets but ferrets seem more aggressive and liable to be irritating =/

    ...Then again my sister's rabbit will scream just to make someone look bad (he made us all think my dad was hurting hik until the rabbit screamed when my father was gone and my mom was bringing him in. It was at that point that we all realized that he was full of shit)

    @Meeble: If you didn't like the first episode, there's not much of a point in continuing, since I don't really remember it really being significantly better later on.  I thought Working!! was alright, but... it's certainly not particularly great, so it's no real big loss if you don't watch it.

    So I tried watching the special features on the Princess Tutu DVDs (the ADV release).

    The video looked like shit... :/

    I mean, I guess it doesn't matter too much when it comes to watching the actual show, since I still have Ahiru's fansubbed version with better video, but I do wonder if the new Section 23 rerelease is any better.  Though, probably not since it kind of seems like they're just repackaging the ADV discs.  Oh well.  Just more reason to always watch fan releases.

    tl;dr: DYRE wishes DVDs didn't need heavy filtering to look acceptable.
