I never said I agreed with the complaint. I just pointed out that saying that the character design in the first game was bad because of the sprites back then (When, you know, we didn't exactly have the best graphics or anything) seems kinda like a non-sequitur
also obligatory juan does not pokemon reminder
but is it on fire
no?
lame
I wasn't really intending to say the design was bad, just that the look was bad.
It breathes fire. It is a fire-breathing pig. That is simply awesome.
That's really kind of irrelevant. Pokemon Yellow's sprites are considerably better even though it was on the same platform.
Yeah but that's because it came later and they already had experience working with the same platform because of Red and Blue.
The first Pokemon games were horrible in general. The second generation was when it actually got, y'know, playable.
I wouldn't call the first generation unplayable.
Though it's by far the worst one engine-wise, since, you know, every game since has been an improvement on the engine (though I actually like Heartgold/Soulsilver a little better than Black/White).
Yes, well...welcome to Facebook games.
Woo, the new dlc/expansion for Dungeons of Dredmore has been released. Now I just need to figure out what build I want to play.
^ ^ I don't know why people play those.
^Boredom and accessibility.
There are far more intellectually stimulating things than Facebook games you can kill your time with.
Like porn, or banging your head into a wall.
You can't do either of those at work.
True.
You can't go on facebook at work at work either, and that doesn't stop anyone.
I do think despite the current state of stuff like Facebook games, the idea has some positive potential, hence what I was talking about with porting an existing RPG to Facebook.
^True, but going on Facebook at work would probably get you in less trouble than going on porn sites at work.
Again, that doesn't stop some people.
>Shedinja is confused! It hurt itself in its confusion!
-_-
Ouch.
If I occasionally rewatch the Sonic 2006 Let's Play so I can laugh at the players' suffering, does that make me evil?
^They set themselves up for schadenfreude on purpose, I'd think it's okay.
True.
Possibly my favorite bit:
No, wait, actually, I prefer the bit where they say "anything is better than that nightmare," then a mach speed section starts.
Tried messing with recording on Nestopia. Thought I should've practiced first before starting recording, played some Mega Man 4 and fought Skull Man.
We ended up killing each other. Damn it, it's one of those moments where I wished I would've recorded that.
Skyrim is 50% off on Steam right now if anyone doesn't have it but wants it.
They also finally released the first DLC for PC-
>$20
Man, fuck that.
Hahahahaha, seriously?
I don't know how Bethesda math works, but I don't think Dawnguard has a third the content of the main game.
I was all excited and everything, but if that's how they're going to do it, I can live without it.
Ooh, Minecraft updated.
The game is a lot easier now.
