It's far easier on keyboard, I find.
I use that controller, clearly not the best controller for MMX.
SR3 is weird from the beginning, but it's not at it's weirdest yet then. It gets even more ridiculous later.
Anyway, I recently got Dragon's Dogma (and Ys: Ark of Napishtim, which mostly reminds me that I have no way of getting the XSeed-released games, which frustrates me like hell). I like it so far, but I haven't done much. At least, not much quest-wise. Last time, I tried the one where you have to escort a wagon (which carries a hydra head that I chopped off), but it got nearly destroyed half-way through the trip, at which point I quitted. I'm not sure what went wrong, as it was in a near perfect shape the last time I checked. It's like it suddenly lost a lot of health at once.
But what I don't like about the game is the absence of a dodge button.
You probably got hit by a rock slide, if you were going through the canyon.
And there's no dodge button, but I believe Rogues/Assassins can get a Dodge ability, and you can run/jump to avoid attacks, too.
Actually no, we evaded the rock slide successfully. Aside from the one time I got hit.
But I just remembered that there was an explosive barrel, that got hit and detonated while the cart was near. Maybe that was it.
Rocks can fall off at several locations during the canyon, I believe. Not sure, though; I just remember rocks falling in more than one location.
So it seems Zynga's higher-ups aren't aware that insider trading is illegal.
Right, I've got a good draft of my Human Revolution review typed out. It wound up being a hair under seven pages. I'll edit it more today, then I'll post it tonight.
Review is up.
Oh right, there is a thread for video games
Anybody know of a walk through walls cheat for Harvest Moon SNES (a cheat that WORKS, mind you). I know it can't be the region the ROM is from, as other cheats work without issue. It's just that the WtW cheat...
It seems to half ass it. I TECHNICALLY walk through the walls... But I vanish, tiles that weren't solid are suddenly solid, and the graphics sometimes decide that Harvest Moon: Glitch City sounds like fun
Might be an emulator-related glitch.
(Dammit, my shameless self-promotion is at the bottom of the page, but I don't want to repost it T_T)
^ They said to use the code in ZSNES, which is the emulator I use
...huh.
Well, that's just weird then.
Gah
Anybody have a normal resolution Town Map from the game, then? Because this is driving me up the wall (I need a normal one since each tile is 16x, but EVERY. FREAKING. MAP. IS. SHRUNK. DOWN!)
Unless you're planning to remake it at a scale of 1 meter/pixel (which would be... silly), it shouldn't really matter if it's scaled down, right?
^ 1 meter per tile
When it's scaled down, unless they say the scale (they never do), I have no idea where each block should go
Also, this is usually the size of the maps:
Little hard to translate that into Minecraft
I ran across this:
http://megagames.com/news/newel-valve-moving-linux-because-windows-8-will-be-catastrophe
Anyone know how true this is?
Might not so bad, Linux is the go-to OS for a lot of software developers anyway.
There's no chance in hell I'm going to use Windows 8, and I'm quite certain it will be an even bigger commercial and popular failure than Vista. Hopefully the people at Microsoft will get a hold of themselves and stick to what's tried and true when the time comes for Windows 9. Apparently, they aren't very optimistic about it themselves, as the retail price is going to be only forty bucks.
That said, someone there did reveal to me that I can see my trading and gifting history on Steam's website.
Which confirms that I did indeed gift you Chantelise a while back.
Is steam having a free weekend for Borderlands? It just kinda showed up in my library. Or I just subconsciously bought it during the sale.
^It is, with a bonus discount for pre-ordering Borderlands 2.

Been playing Alpha Protocol.
I'm completely shit at stealth but I'm enjoying it immensely.
Hmm. I don't know when I'll actually be getting another game, but when I do, I don't know what I'll get, either. Maybe Dragon's Dogma; maybe Dark Souls, even though I suck at video games; maybe Soul Calibur V or Tekken 6, but I already have two fighting games and only one non-fighting game; maybe One Piece: Pirate Warriors because it comes out a little after my birthday, but I don't know if I'll have to wait quite that long; maybe Saints Row: The Third for some wacky fun. And I'm probably missing a ton.
._.;
Blacksite: Area 51. You'll thank me later.
