Quadrapedal animals are measured up to the shoulder, right? Doesn't that mean Meganium is 6 feet tall... At the shoulder? Making it's height with the neck about 12 feet?
Just finished EV training my Chandelure, decided to name him Chandeljack just for-
Dammit CJ, not now! Get back in the Pokeball!
So yeah. Pokemon X leads kids to porn
Link One
Link Two
Who saw that one coming? I hope it was everybody
Also, Xerneas -> Z-erneas
Yveltal -> EE-veltal
XY -> ZEE
It just amused me that taking the first letter of each legendary's name would allow the pronounciation of Z
^Or they could throw a curve ball again and make X2/Y2 and have the box legendary be the Slope Pokemon. :P
@Icalasari:
Stop attempting to mimic the appearance of the in-game battle system, I'd guess. Once you're not doing that, there's no real need to use sprites rather than official artwork or something.Or if they're feeling particularly awesome, they'll keep using the fifth gen sprites and make custom ones for the new guys.
^^ No no, it'd have to be Pokémon dX/dY for that.
Well, before they even THINK about what sprites they are going to use, someone has to actually crack the 3DS. Without that, we won't know the ins and outs of the mechanics.
Well, they could start with static sprites and then move to animated ones over time.
The fifth gen CAPs have animated sprites so there is precedent.
I still don't understand how Pokemon's animated sprites work. Crystal's is just a few frames, Emerald's to HGSS is two frames with various kinds of distortion, but how does one recreate BW(2) animated sprites?
By splitting a Sprite into separately animated "parts" usually including torso, arms, head, legs, etc.
^ But how do they animate these parts exactly? Do they mark a point of origin on each variant of the part of something?
X and Y are going to be the first versions where everybody has a chance at experiencing it with fresh eyes like RBY without having to avoid the internet for months
Although the week or two before release will be hell thanks to street release breakers
Unless the release is completely virtual, of course
Japan is getting a Shiny Magikarp event
Level 99 and holding a rare candy
I find this hilarious since the karp is more valuable unevolved
> level 99
Gonna be a bitch to EV train that motherfucker up.
Turn on the TV
Ride up and down that bridge with the EV point wings for a few hours
deal with duckletts
In Gen V, EVs are recalculated after every battle
If I recall correctly, this allows even level 100's to be ev trained. And if not, you can ev train a Pokemon via the Join Avenue without them being in a single battle, which still allows level 100s to be ev trained
Addendum - throw a level 50 something with intimidate in front of your party. or just spam repels.
... Huh. Apparently yes.
I just realized how special the Japanese Shiny Magikarp is
It has Hydro Pump
COROCORO LEAKS!
New movie had the title changed to Extremespeed Genesect and Mewtwo's Awakening
Fuck yes Mewtwo and Genesect fight!
Also Eevee evolves into what looks like Skitty's bastard evolution

What type would that be? A Normal-type Eeveelution?
Most likely, or they could throw a curve ball and have it be a Ghost type. :P
The only thing we know about it is its name, Ninfia. I kinda want it to be Bug type, but yeah right.
