  • But you never had any to begin with.
If nothing else, Normal gets Return, which is a wonderful move.

^^^ Isn't Nintendo handling the advertising campaign though, including the whole, "Ehat type could it be?" thing?
  • There are actually a few useful Normal pokemon, such as Ambipom, Blissey, Porygon-Z, Snorlax, and Togekiss.

  • a little muffled

    That doesn't make it a non-boring type.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

All it does is take away a resistance.

Not breaking anything doesn't make it not dumb.

Anyway, we really have nothing to go on with Ninfia/Sylveon. Ninfia would be a reasonable name for a water or grass type, while Sylveon would just be a reasonable name for a grass type, and we know it isn't one of those.

Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

^^No but what does is that Normal seems to also include lot's of unusual moves that don't belong anywhere else. Normal is also the "Sound-type" and things like Gravity.

^Until recently, Flying was always an "adjective" type. It's not "this thing flies" so much as "a flying what?", and in the case of Normal/Flying it's "a flying animal", and animals are relegated to Normal types if another type doesn't override it.

  • But you never had any to begin with.
I hereby declare Rock to be the most boring type, because it can't hit anything. :|
  • a little muffled

    Gravity is Psychic...

  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!

^Huh. I could have sworn it was Normal-type.

    Oddly enough, Psych-up is Normal.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. Still not a fan, but it works.

The flying discussion makes me think of an admin on a forum I used to frequent who said that the only way something would be pue flying is if it was literally nothing but a pair of wings

Guess she didn't consider flying cloud genie men...

Oh, come on. Everyone knows clouds are made of water.

    >Plays Ash Grey hack
    >Beats Brock's Onix (hacked to have 255 base defense - the fucker...) using Sandshrew's Sand Attack and Scratch
    >Brock claims I'm too weak to beat him. After I just beat him

Man this guy does NOT like sequence breaking!

  • I'm starting to think that Skyla is a bit of a tease.

Think about it: she wears skimpy clothing, and her pre-battle animation shows her striking a sexy pose before sending out her pokemon.

Given how she blatantly trolls gym challengers (she launches you out of a cannon into a wall in BW1), it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to assume she tries to *ahem* distract the player character for the lulz.

  • "I will grant you two wishes; one for each testicle."

yes clearly all pokemon is sex

    duh

    specially those 10 year olds

^ The heroes in BW (and B2W2? Not sure) are older, possibly 15/16
  • But you never had any to begin with.

Now I'm wondering how old Red is by the time of BW2.

  • Given that none of the Johto or Kanto gym leaders appear to have visibly aged, I'd say B/W2 doesn't take place very long after the Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh games.

Man, the Pokemon games sure have a confusing timeline, don't they?

  • But you never had any to begin with.

There's at least 4 years between Gen I and Gen V-2 at any rate, since there's two years between Gen I and Gen II, and 2 between V and V-2.

Black and White take place an undetermined amount of time after DPPt

Black 2 and White 2 take place... I think two years after Black and White?

Assuming Black and White take place immediately after DPPt (can't be at the same time - Looker would need to be in two places at once). So Red is 10 in Gen I. Johto is... Three years I think. So 13 in Gen II. Since DPPt take place about mid storyline of HgSs, we could assume that the events in Gen II, Gen III, and BW take place over a year. So 14. Then add another two years

Red should be in the range of 16 years old

Ridi, Pagliaccio, sul tuo amore infranto!

I thought it was that Gen 2 and 4 take place 3 years after Gen 1 and 3?

B&W2 definitely take place 2 years after B&W1, so there is just that period of time in between Gen 4 and Gen 5 that we do not know about.

Wonder what the deal on Gen 6 is.

    So, I'm playing Ash Grey

I got to the Bye Bye Butterfree event in it

...The prize for giving up Butterfree is Silver Powder. I can easily get my Butterfree a mate in Viridian. Besides, my Butterfree is my best catcher right now

Of course, I have better Pokemon in my PC, and no water type on my team...

Bleh, not sure what to do...

    >.> The hack maker took the cheap route out. Instead of getting to face Ritchie and possibly even breaking the story a bit and becoming champion? Team Rocket delays you enough to make it impossible to get to the match in time >.<

  • Now that I think about it, the similarities are rather uncanny:

    Fennemon

Fox looks like other fox due to being fox, breaking news on Fox.

Last night I dreamed that new Pokemon were leaked

One wasca butterfree evolution or maybe an alt evo for Metapod. A rounded, cream brown head. A body made of two thick circles, one behind the other. They were bound by a creamish band in the shape of an x. The circles had cream edges and brown centers. Regular Butterfree hands, feet, mouth, and attaenae (sp?), but cream coloured. Regular red eyes

    Batterfree, the Pancake Pokemon

So I did sone research for my own Pokemon fan game since the IJBM one died a slow painful death apparently

Every generation's gym leader battle music is a remix
  • Definitely not gay.

A Pokemon/Fallout crossover would be fun to see.

The FEV could be taken to its logical conclusion, and we could have Pokemon stuck between evolutionary stages! Imagine a Gabite with the head, left shoulder, arm and hand of a Garchomp!

^ Or a Magikarp with Bidoof legs and head, a Sunkern leaf, and Paras shrooms!

Bug/Grass w/ Dry Skin, the stats of a Sunkern, the moveset of a Magikarp, and the appeal of a Bidoof!
