    Nope.  Miku is the only one whose songs I like.  And by that I mean, like... 3 songs, but still.  More than any other Vocaloid.

    Granted, I've only listened to like 5 Vocaloid songs ever.

    @Creators using the trope on the last page: To be fair, given how fanworks and such apparently tend to proliferate in Japan, there's bound to be a fanartist or several making intentional use of it.

    Still, of the very few Vocaloid songs I've heard and liked, most are Miku songs.

    Though that's probably just because most Vocaloid songs in general are Miku songs.

    The reason Miku is so popular is most likely because she was the first of the Vocaloid 2 programs. With the exception of Luka, the newer the Vocaloid 2 character, the more obscure they tend to be.

    It's a fanservice trope and an audience reaction trope.

    That said, since it's largely an audience reaction trope, it should not have any examples at all, EXCEPT for those in which the creator specifically invoked this for fanservice purposes.

    So yeah, the way I see it, the alleged iCarly example is out, and so is Miku Hatsune.  (Unless the latter was designed specifically with this in mind.  Sources, please.)

    And is this trope called "zettai" or "zetta"?  I can go fix the title of this thread.

    I guess I don't understand the "Oh, we have to have a page on it because it's Japanese!" quip, since we have an entire index full of Fanservice tropes that originate from various cultures.

    ^ It got one, albeit not the one that was initially proposed... but, hey, compromise.

    It did? I could have sworn the description originally went into detail about Grades S through E, and originally had a picture that incorporated all of them. Now it only has two sentences about grades, one of  them being "Only Grade A and B qualify."

    The below-knee examples were going to be removed anyways, as determined by an earlier crowner. And rewrite #3, which got the highest score in the second crowner, did in fact go into more detail about the grading system.

    Oh, I see what happened- all the info was relocated to the Analysis page. It still has that @!$#! page image, though...

    The "chuck all the extra stuff that doesn't belong on the main page to Analysis" is pretty common in TRS decisions.

    No. That's the main difference. Last time I saw it, Pretty in Mink just described it as being a fanservice trope, listed a few examples and then got the fuck out. It didn't do creepily detailed analysis.

    From a quick glance of the examples for Vapor Wear, it looks like the answer depends on whether or not you're referring to actual adolescents or fictional adolescents. If the latter, then yes.

    This sounds like what ZR should be like.  And by "examples" I mean "examples where this trope is actually invoked, and not just a fan reaction, with few exceptions".

    I know it's hard to ignore something you find arousing. I like ZR as much as the next guy. But when I get a boner over something, I hide it behind my Batman trapper keeper like a normal person. I don't go jizzing all over the page.
