Zetta Ryouiki is getting fixed
Comments
Granted, I've only listened to like 5 Vocaloid songs ever.
Actually, that song's good too I guess.
Still, of the very few Vocaloid songs I've heard and liked, most are Miku songs.
Though that's probably just because most Vocaloid songs in general are Miku songs.
> And then it would further have to be proven that they have a complicated
and in-depth grading system applied to socks, and that there's an
actual value to mentioning any of this shit.
It's a fanservice trope and an audience reaction trope.
That said, since it's largely an audience reaction trope, it should not have any examples at all, EXCEPT for those in which the creator specifically invoked this for fanservice purposes.
So yeah, the way I see it, the alleged iCarly example is out, and so is Miku Hatsune. (Unless the latter was designed specifically with this in mind. Sources, please.)
And is this trope called "zettai" or "zetta"? I can go fix the title of this thread.
^ It got one, albeit not the one that was initially proposed... but, hey, compromise.
And nobody uses the grading system, outside of a handful of spergy otaku blogs, and TV Tropes itself.
Oh, I see what happened- all the info was relocated to the Analysis page. It still has that @!$#! page image, though...
Original:
As if that wasn't enough, some even categorize it into five "Grades", from RankInflation E to A. Only the top two (A and are considered true Zettai Ryouiki and they are only usable by females. Some SeriousBusiness researchers additionally introduce RankInflation Grade S, the highest one which consists of Grade A plus further requirements to {{Tsundere}} personality and GirlishPigtails hairstyle. See the linked ''http://animedesho.animeblogger.net/?p=2585 Anime Deshou Deshou'' article for details and http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zettai_ryouiki_99.jpg illustrations.
Rewrite #3:
Since a Zettai Ryouiki is defined by the length of the stockings, some
people have categorize it into grades depending on the size of the
socks. This ranking system goes from Grade E to Grade A* . However, only Grades A and B are considered true Zettai Ryouiki. See the Analysis page for more details.
The "chuck all the extra stuff that doesn't belong on the main page to Analysis" is pretty common in TRS decisions.
You know, if it weren't for all the autism and weeabooism demonstrated by the article, I'd compare it to the Pretty in Mink and Vapor Wear articles.
Oh wow, they actually got rid of those examples. Finally.
few examples and then got the fuck out. It didn't do creepily detailed
analysis.
This sounds like what ZR should be like. And by "examples" I mean "examples where this trope is actually invoked, and not just a fan reaction, with few exceptions".
much sense. who the fuck cares what the "face of troper tales" or trope
titles or descritpions make the rest of the internet think of us?
