Snow... Was pretty much unintimidating due to being shy herself
Phillip looked to the Poliwag and the Bellsprout. "What kind of food do you like?" he reached into his pack and lay down some snacks for them. Phillip gave a look to Ray that plainly said. I was gonna eat that!
The Hoppip shrank bit a bit, wilting.
"Hop..."
"Oh. Sorry. Oh, hey, I probably have some food, too." Jackie reached into her bag and grabbed some food while Mercer looked on hopelessly. She offered it. "Want some?"
The Pokemon were looking hesitantly at the food.
The Poliwag tried to keep up his tough demeanour, but his eyes kept flicking hesitantly towards the food.
The Abra was the first to break, Teleporting over to the food in front of Ray and chowing down blissfully.
Jackie set the food down and backed away, returning to her peaceful gesture and waiting.
The Bellsprout was the next to break, walking slowly up to the food and chomping down.
The Hoppip followed soon after, sitting safely back behind the Bellsprout.
The Poliwag, seeing his friends chomping down, walked guardedly up to the Abra and started eating as well, glaring defiantly at Phillip.
Charles backed up as well, smiling at the sight
"Phillip, sorry... this is just for a bit." Ray said, pulling out his pokeball. Phillip nodded, but gave a small. "Piiix" to let Ray know he didn't like it.
After returning Phillip to his ball, Ray slowly brought a hand out low and upturned and put a bit more food in it for them to have.
Jackie looked back to Mercer, nodded at him, and took out his Pokeball. He nodded with a sigh and returned.
"What do you guys think? Still hungry?"
The Hoppip shook her head shyly. Well, her entire body, really.
The three of them had seemed to have calmed down somewhat. The Poliwag was still looking defiant, with a smudge of chocolate and cherry on its' cheek.
They looked more relaxed, at least.
Should we just use the pokeballs now, Greg? Jackie still smiled. "Cool!"
Ask the others. But be discreet with your mind powers.
Greg focuses on directing his thoughts at Jackie, wanting to try sending instead of receiving.
Well, first things first. Does this work?
Yessah.
Good.
He then directs his thoughts toward Ray and Charles. Do we use the balls now, or what? Don't react aloud to this.
Well, the pokemon haven't left yet. That's good.
Not yet. Let's try and make them want to come with us.
Are you nuts? They are like Snow. Try to catch them now and they will freak
Yeah, okay, that's probably a good point, thought Greg, forgetting that not everyone could hear Ray and Charles.
Ray kept his hand out, waiting for one of the pokemon to come and eat from it. "Come on... it's tasty, right?"
"Are you sure they're still hungry, Ray? If you're not still hungry, you're free to pass it up," she said to the Pokemon.
Greg followed Ray's lead, not really being sure what to do.
Ray nodded to Jackie and slowly stretched out his hand to pet the closest, though hesitating to see their reaction.
