    @Vandro: Lolita was a novel detailing and criticizing the mental and emotional decline of the nymphetophile main character, who was a villain protagonist much the same as Alex Burgess in A Clockwork Orange, and destroyed the lives of those around him. It also depicted him as really only lusting after twelve-year-old girls because of their resemblance to a dead chick he had a crush on as a kid. He actually actively disdains a lot of Lolita's more childlike features and attitude. Also, the first time they fuck is consensual, since the bitch has no clue what she's doing and is just horny ever since she got laid at summer camp.

    The other one visually depicts incestual rape of a 9-year-old for no other purpose that serving as jackoff material. I wouldn't really put them on the same level.

    I am not saying Lolita doesn't have literary merits, or that Kodomo no Jikan is nothing more than a lolicon jerkoff fantasy.

    I am saying that both present a disgusting premise. And I find that to be inconsequential as to whether a medium is to be blamed or al least, generalized into an amorphous blob that only exudes creepiness.

    And the fact is, sexuality does not follow logic. People growing to gigantic sizes and have sex with a tiny person makes no sense. But there is a fetish for it. People turning into rutabagas and being eaten makes no sense. But there is a fetish for it. People want to be taken apart, and used as an armless legless sex toy. People want to see things being raped. Or being suffocated by mammaries. Or masturbation with a pumpkin.

    You can't fault porn for being porn. 

    It's meant for private entertainment, not mass production.
