    I tried to get my roommate to watch but he hated it. I was shocked; he usually has much better taste.

    To be fair, there's a lot not to like in Durarararara (not that I didn't like it, it's good, but hardly a masterpiece). Still, one episode is not enough to make an accurate value judgment, however, if they don't want to watch it, there's no point on being pushy about it, it'd be kind of rude, actually.
