Also, is it bad that "Renai Circulation" has grown on me because of "Weed Circulation"?
UN-GO has been listed by Sentai (Who else). I hope it's dubbed...
^^ I know better the lyrics for this MAD than for the actual song
> Also, is it bad that "Renai Circulation" has grown on me because of "Weed Circulation"?
No, because that happened to me too.
@ Waifu montage
Why in all living fuck is Guts there?
For the lulz?
Because there are also androphilic otaku? (there are a few other male characters in that image, after all)
And, relatedly, best waifu in that collage is clearly Kotetsu T Kaburagi.
@Schitzo: Gay Luigi is there, so...yeah.
Anyway, I was rewatching some Kiddy Grade earlier (in order to transcribe the piano solo track Promising Future), and I once again noticed some of the finer details put into the English dub, including the script changes and how they, while subtle, slightly tweak the characters' characterizations (KG's English dub is one of the ones that deviates from the original Japanese script the most, of the several series for which I've seen both dub and sub), and perhaps more importantly this time, I was reminded of the fact that they re-sang all the insert songs.
Immediately following the instrumental "Promising Future" track, there's the vocal track "Hikari no Umi" ("Sea of Light"), which is Lumière's personal insert song. Like they did with "Hoshizora no Yurikago" ("Cradle of the Starry Sky"), which is Éclair's personal insert song, as well as with both the opening and ending themes, the makers of the dub re-dubbed this, by writing up and having performed their take on/imitation of the original instrumental backing, and then adding an English version of the lyrics.
The only problem with these two insert songs in English is that, when you hear them in the episode itself, their lyrics are hard to pick out sometimes.

indicative of some issues, if you ask me.
at least to that level.
Yes, but I meant the thing being joked about.
It was initially, but then Otaku started picking them unironically.
^^^ Some people actually use it completely seriously to refer to 2D characters that they have a crush on, though most of the time, yeah, it's usually used as a joke, either with people making fun of people who are overly attached to 2D girls or just people using it as a sort of jokey way to say they're a fan of a particular character.
Why specifically 2D characters?
It's not much different if the crush is on a character in a live action or CG series.
Just saying.
Because 3DPD.
Or, really, because most of the time it's anime/manga/game characters and I didn't feel like it was worth being more general even if it might be slightly more accurate.
What's 3DPD?
^3-d; Pig Disgusting.
Yes, there are people who actually believe that.
Seems like they need better depth perception.
And maybe a functioning liver too.
Actually, maybe kidneys, because of the high sodium content of ramen flavoring packets.
Anyway, I found this.
Does anyone get how this image is supposed to work?
I don't know why that'd be surprising though.
Watched the first two episodes of Humanity is Declining/Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. Completely bizarre, and it looks pretty. Unless episode 3 screws up horribly, I'm in this for the long haul. Also, Mediator is the most wonderfully deadpan character ever.
What is it about?
Without giving too much away, it's set at a time where humanity has been declining (/duh) for a couple of hundred years, due to a sheer drop in birthrates. The most numerous species on Earth are now Fairies/"neo-humans", a race with advanced technology and an obsession with sweets, who try to help humans survive as best they can. The main character (Mediator/Watashi/"Ms. Sweets") is a UN mediator between humans and fairies, training to take over her grandfather's role. From there... well, stuff happens.
Sheeda!
NO ONE! CAN! ESCAPE! THE HARROWING!
The faeries and their stupid grins, the grins. Also, best suicide ever, loaf.
I want to watch that show so much but gaaaaah I'm still really far behind on my other shows! I'll try to catch up today though, maybe.
if this show has a Milton-quoting secret agent on Mars called Frankenstein, then I'll watch it.
I'll watch it so hard.
It took 20 episodes, but I finally beat Cure Peace in a game of rock-paper-scissors.
You all needed to know this.
I just watched the first episode of Hyouka. It was pretty slow, but it has potential.
