Ah, yeah, it does look pretty nice. And ah, interesting, it fits his ornate style at least.
I started watchion Nanoha StrikerS. The first episode seems to do too much to introduce Subaru. She talks about her motivation and stuff, plus she even has somewhat dramatic dialogue with emotional background music... during a training session. It comes off as if somebody wanted to get her established as soon as possible, and it just lessens the impact of everything.
fourteenwings you better watch this
The long awaited fated most adorable artstyle.
I kind of want to cry.
Well, there goes any chances of watching Black Bullet.
Slightly bummed out. One of my current favorite shounen manga just ended its run of 230+ chapters (Beelzebub), but with a spinoff manga coming in May (WOO!). Still, the setup for the final battle was rushed and I was really enjoying Beelzebub for awhile there. The last arc was really good.
Also bummed out: Kimi no Iru Machi ended its run a few weeks ago (260 or so chapters). It wasn't a very good manga, but I enjoyed the cheesecakey art on occasion (heh...) and it was part of my weekly menu. Seo started up a new manga, Fuuka, which is about a whiny transfer student dude that is on Twitter all the time (and looks like the main character of Persona 3) and a girl that gives zero fucks about anything other than listening to music. So far it's... not great, but the girls are pretty. Yup, sounds like a Seo manga.
So I've been watching some Allison & Lillia.
This appears to be a series about both romance AND geopolitics. They just messed with the politics of not-Russia.
It also keeps me guessing what they're going to do next.
Apparently, Kill la Kill has the same head writer as Kamen Rider Fourze. Guess this explains the obsession KLK had with TV school cliches and whatnot. Or well, had. The second half feels almost like a different show. It's not that the show is no longer cliched, over-the-top and so on. It's just a different kind of those things now.
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=CGD2-75005 <-- how is this worth US$50?
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=CGD2-75001 <-- and how is this worth over US$1000?
Not sure about the first one, but for the second, licensing from the copyright owners, plus smaller production run (probably) and more complicated manufacturing process compared to regular clothes?
I'm mildly disappointed with my Fate/stay Night DVD set.
fourteenwing's presents Let's talk Anison 2014!
Fall 2013-Winter 2014
I should be clear that I probably miss a lot of debuts, anime-specific units and releases from artists I don't follow, but I try my best to at least keep up with debuts.
Anyways, Fall had a lot of great music and comebacks after some people went missing for a couple of seasons. nano made a wonderful comeback with her single featuring Hiro from rock band MY FIRST STORY (Fall was really the season of 'featuring' singles). It was Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio -Ars Nova-'s opening theme, and it was not only a wonderful job when it came to the lyrics but the music was really just fun and headbangey, while still maintaining a very serious edge. It had three seperate coupling tracks, but I've only heard Silver Sky that comes with the anime version since that's the one I bought (I could download the others but I've been lazy). It was also in the anime and is an emotional ballad performed in English (And nano can actually do that so it sounds fine).
The next comeback was from BACK-ON, who'd disappeared from the music scene for a while, and they provided both the Fall and Winter OPs for Gundam Build Fighters. Both were great songs which utilized BACK-ON's back and forth vocal/vocal/rap style well (despite most of wimp being a lead vocal with a guest artist; a surprising move from the new 'edgy bad girl image' girl group FAKY, who continue their unprecedented allegiance with anison). Nibun no Ichi managed to emphasize the necessary parts of a relationship, while wimp managed to really nail all those fun and memorable parts.
Harada Hitomi paired up with the symphonic pop producer who, if he were a god, would still live among the masses; toku (Who would later debut his own unit a season later, but I'll write about that soon enough) to produce another wonderful single for the Machine-doll wa Kizutsukanai series. This time for the TV anime and iOS game. Anicca manages to be it's own moving, eloquently performed song with an element of anger while flashing back to the duo's roots in the promotional Prologue EPs MACHINE DOLL. Burnt Red, the coupling track and the iOS game image song, is a song filled with an untapped yet rich source of life, it's vitality flowing throughout it's chorus and it's naughty, almost evil lyrics complementing the composition (with an unmistakeable guitar solo by toku himself).
Of course, STAR☆ANIS are back to sing for a the season of Aikatsu! and have really outdone themselves. Despite my personal worries at a non-Yuna version of Kira・pata・shining being the 'official' version, it's still a beautiful song. The unit along with their various producers (Including newcomer PandaBoY, the brain behind the Arabian Nights-infused Fashion epic that is Kira・pata・shining) release singles that are peppy, enjoyable and have a tinge of true, nostalgic emotion for one's happy days (A prime example being KIRA☆Power, the latest opening theme, that infects not only with it's wonderful melody but it's unprecedented, sudden wub sounds).
a) Yes I am actually going to look over every anison thing I can think of from Fall and Winter
b) Yes I will flood this thread but this is important
c) Yes sat will be getting his own megapost and I will include his VN work
Next: HiBiKi music makes a true debut as Bushiroad's official label and NEGOTO
What significant differences, if any, exist between what people refer to as "anison" and what people refer to as "j-pop", "j-rock", or "j-music" in general? Are there trends toward certain instrumentation, certain musical styles, or certain artists, or what, for example?
J-pop is popular stuff (ayu, Namie, Koda Kumi, EXILE, AKB48, NMB48, Hello Project, all sixty E-girls groups). J-rock is like... rock music (Hemenway, FLOW, flumpool, BUMP OF CHICKEN, B'z, GLAY etc) and Anison is written for the consumption of anime fans (So... Mizuki Nana, LiSA, ChouCho, T.M.Revolution, various sat things the odd male VA release that isn't Miyano Mamoru) even if it's not in anime (aforementioned male VA releases). Anison is a market cornered by Warner Home Video and Lantis (And sort of MF Bunko?), with everyone else just playing in it. Also J-rock people tend to have their songs in anime but not all of them (B'z, GLAY).
J-music is just Japanese music.
Basically; pay a lot of attention to labels (which you won't so I won't bother listing all seventy billion here).
Anyways:
fourteenwing's presents Let's talk Anison 2014!
Fall 2013-Winter 2014
Part 2!
HiBiKi music made it's real debut as an anison (specifically Bushiroad anison) label after producing lots of radio CDs for WHV, starting off by taking on PSYCHIC LOVER (My favorite rock band of ever not FLOW) and Suara to perform the final Link Joker-hen OP and ED for Cardfight!! Vanguard (Though I think Break your spell was released under someone else) and an album from Milky Holmes.
Anyways, PSYCHIC LOVER and Suara proceeded to do a joint single for Winter's new Bushiroad card game adaptation Future Card Buddyfight, which is an excellent song called Card of the Future. Both in Japanese and English (single only has the Japanese version despite a recent episode proving that a full English version exists). Aside from the fun, vibrant opening theme the B-side is yet another collaboration called Now and Forever, which utilizes a very nostalgic musical theme while actually retaining some of the instrumentation from Card of the Future, making the single a really wonderful listen.
Next is Kill la Kill's OPs, which were both unavoidable for me since they were performed by the energetic Aoi Eir and the mysterious new unit, GARNiDELiA. Aoi Eir's fall single Sirius really broke down a lot of barriers for me in regards to her work. It perfected the melodic sound from her earlier summer single Cobalt Blue and added an unforgiving energetic school days vocal (That makes sense right?). The coupling tracks showed off even more new elements; Addicted... was a sick song with the tasteful use of voice distortion while Kuroi Uta was her first true ballad, and what a melancholic way of making her ballad debut.
Then there was the much anticipated official debut of star producer toku and the latest in a considerable line of NicoNico musicians, following in ChouCho, Aoi Eir and Tomohisa Sako's footsteps, MARiA. Their debut single ambiguous was a wonderful tasting plate of their various styles. On the title track, MARiA manages to make meg rock's lyrics her own with her inflection and combined with toku's symphonic instrumental they prove themselves to be one to watch. Then came Gravity, which is MARiA's first foray into lyrics. Combined with toku's somber tone, her woeful lyrics and vocals really make it a stand out ballad. Then comes the wildcard; their "fashion" song that takes elements even tommyHeavenly6 wouldn't be too scared to steal and would work wonders as the OP for a josei fashion anime (do they even make those anymore?), MARiA proves her versatility and fun side while toku seems to perfect it; producing one of Winter's best overall singles.
And yet another show with red as it's image color that I didn't watch has music I couldn't avoid; Samurai Flamenco. FLOW's latest single, Ai Ai ni Utarete Bye Bye Bye acts as the opening theme and while I haven't heard the B-sides yet I love how it's just absolutely obnoxious in the most interesting, nostalgia-ridden manner. It manages to be repetitive while really drawing you in to a world where guitars are kings and humans are pawns while still maintaining that distinctive FLOW back and forth vocal.
Next: sat
Next Next: Noragami
Unrelatedly; I have actually been here since the start of this thread

MEGAPOOOOOOOOOOST
Spring 2014 TV Anime
Abarenbou Kishi!! Matsutarou - Sumo show about an adorable guy who sumo wrestles.
Akuma no Riddle - Yuri on TV! Twice in a row even! Anyways, a show about battle high school girls where one girl struggles to protect the girl she's in love with. Noteable characters include adorable blue haired girl with teddy bear.
Atelier Escha to Logy ~Tasogare no Sora no Renkinjutsushi~ - Adaptation of the alchemy video game series. PVs forego the more serious plot in favour of cute girls for some reason.
Baby Steps - A sports anime by Pierrot, which means this is possibly their next Naruto but probably not since it is a non fujoshi sports anime and those never ever work out.
Black Bullet - Kinema Citrus finally appear to have a saving grace in this LN adaptation with an OP by fripSide and an ED by yanaginagi (which is possibly a caution because no show with a yanaginagi OP or ED has ever been good aside from the one time she interned at supercell for Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari). Anyways, in a semi-standard LN plot, a gifted older boy and red haired loli (Not Aria, really) go out to save the Tokyo. Very excited for it, will watch.
Blade & Soul - Fanservice MMORPG is adapted into fanservicey anime by Gonzo, who seem to be reusing animation from Bayonetta. There are so many war plot things I couldn't really wrap my head around it, much like Queen's Blade.
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou - Brains Base continue with their fun magical realism style of atmosphere and animation (I think)... in an adaptation of a show about people who live in the same apartment building.
Break Blade - An exciting new entry into the anime series that began with the Broken Blade films. Despite this, I'm probably not watching it till the indeterminable future.
Captain Earth - Mecha, BONES, nothing will be better (Except possibly Noragami). Anyways, a young boy and his friends fight off a mysterious set of interplanetary aliens using the mecha Captain Earth.
Date A Live II - URESHIKUTE, KIMINIKUTE, IENAI NO NI... (Rough translation; new super great sweet ARMS single accompanied by a second season of LN battle harem show Date A Live).
Dragon Ball Kai - Another remastering/reimagining of more of the Dragon Ball anime.
Fairy Tail - A continuation of the Fairy Tail anime.
Fuuun Ishin Dai☆Shogun - Kakihara Tetsuya voices the virgin-powered mecha pilot protagonist in the Edo period who uses his mecha to fight Black Ships.
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? - Five cute girls are adorable in a cafe. AOTYAY and AOTY2014.
Gokukoku no Brynhildr - A boy whose best friend died is beside himself when she seems to reappear with no memories. Proves to be interesting. Definite watch.
Haikyuu!! - Since Dia no Ace ended, I.G. needed a fujoshi sports show to fill the time slot. This time it's about VOLLEYBALL (It will be really sad if Kakihara Tetsuya were not in this).
Hanamonogatari - More Monogatari? Already? Apparently. Set after Koyomi graduates (what) and things will happen with Kanbaru.
Hero Bank - blahblahblahNot Butto Burst, a show about a kid who has to repay money by playing a smartphone app, really.
Hitsugi no Chaika - A capable boy and a girl with a gun in a coffin... and the boy's non-typical-imouto sister? I was really on board until that last part. It will probably still be great, I just think it's weird and yes I know I'm being so ota right now so I'll stop. Will watch.
Isshukan Friends - A show about a girl who can only remember her friends for a week and the boy who befriends her every week.
Jojo na Kimyou no Bouken Second Season - Need I even say anything?
Lady Jewelpet - Monona is taken to the world of Jewelpets by Ruby where she competes to become the next Lady Jewelpet! Really excited, will watch.
Kamigami no Asobi ~Ludere deorum~ - A Broccoli game with music by Elements Garden as adapted by... Brains Base? Anyways, a girl is ordered to teach gods to love (her, as this is not a full on BL show). Anubis, who is the best, has not been in PVs at all so I probably will wait for spoilers before watching if ever.
Kanojo ga Flag wo Oretara - From Hoods (ie Will be Pretty but will probably not have the greatest narrative) a boy is able to see flags for future events (No this is not NouCome) and has a harem.
Kenzen Robo Daimidaler - Another ero-come about mecha.
Kindaichi Shounen Jikenbo R - A new adaptation of the detective manga.
Kin-iro no Corda: Blue♪Sky - A music themed adaptation of an Otome harem VN.
Love Live! School Idol Project Second Season - u's are back, they will CG dance and be hilarious with a side of wit. Will watch after I finish season one.
M3 ~Sono Kuroki Tetsu~ - Yet another mecha anime in this season of lots of mecha anime by Sateight about a group of kids and... something.
Mahou Shoujo Taisen - Gainax creates an anime for mahou shoujo representatives for various Japanese towns.
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - KODOKU NA, IMA, HASHIRI NI NATTE, NIGERU, KIMI OMOI NATTE (Translation; new LiSA single, accompanied by an LN adaptation about a magical high school where a brother and sister are top students. For some reason the girl's uniform is fifty million times better than the guys).
Majin Bone - An adaptation of a new Bandai digital card game.
Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to - An adaptation of a manga about a mangaka and his assistant. Looks promising.
Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers - Avengers and kids fight Loki.
Mekaku City Actors - Based on the Vocaloid LN series, a NEET boy meets a cyber girl who forces him to leave his house for the first time in two years.
Mushishi Zoku Shou - New Mushishi.
No Game No Life - Two really great gamers (who are of course a guy and his imouto since LN) are taken to another world to represent the earth in various games.
Ping Pong - In what looks to be a really artistically animated show, people play table tennis.
Pretty Rhythm: All Star Selection - A transition show in which the Prism Stars of past seasons teach new idol Laala to be a great idol before her official debut in PriPara.
Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin - A disowned boy moves into a cheap apartment to go to school and is soon embroiled in the mystery of the late Ryuugajou Nanana's treasure. Might watch.
Sadon Desu - A group of girls run a tea club. An actual tea club, as this is not K-ON!
Seikoku no Dragonar - A dragon tamer with no dragon soon finds himself with a dragon in the shape of a girl.
selector infected WIXOSS - An original anime that's part of a joint project with a card game inwhich girls try to win battles to make wishes.
Sidonia no Kishi - A new CG anime, inwhich a group of mecha pilots struggle to protect their home ship Sidonia, a remnant of the Earth's destruction.
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii - Another Pierott anime that looks to be a long term thing; a girl goes off to marry a king for her Counrty only to discover that he's a child.
Soul Eater NOT! - An adaptation of the Soul Eater spinoff manga, expect cute girls doing cute things.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V - A new Yu-Gi-Oh anime.
And non-TV anime to consider:
GJ-bu@ - A special about the GJ-bu's graduation trip to America.
I'll officially be watching:
Captain Earth
Lady Jewelpet
Black Bullet
Pretty Rhythm All Star Selection
And continuing:
Aikatsu!
Future Card Buddyfight
Cardfight!! Vanguard Legion Mate-hen
And outside of this season, I'll be starting:
Jewelpet Kira☆Deco!
The Skullman
wish me luck ;-;
Gundam Build Fighters is officially over, and I have to say that I was extremely excited for this show and it proved to be even better than I expected.
There's a lot that I loved about it that I could go on about, but I also feel that it wouldn't be too great an idea to do so just list everything I liked about it so I'll just go on about two things in particular; Gunpla and the nature of the Build Fighters.
Gunpla themselves are shown to be a two-concept item; they're what our protagonists love and idolize on one side. They love to build them and battle with them for different reasons. One of the best things about Gundam Build Fighters is that it shows that Sei and his father's interests in Gunpla are not linked. Of course, Sei probably watched a lot of Gundam as a child because of his father but outside that Sei is shown to truly love these things, regardless of his father's wishes. On the other hand; Reiji is not introduced to Gunpla by Gundam series, he merely finds battling fun.
Aside from that, we have China, who is introduced to Gunpla by her own curiosity towards Sei's intense passion for it. Of course China's passion isn't as extensive because she has a different kind of passion, she's an artist and her Gunpla is the piece of art she's most proud of and attached to. Stemming from that, she wishes to display it to the world.
Every single character has their own little reasons for liking Gunpla and Gunpla battle, which is where the next part of it's importance comes in; each Gunpla acts as a vehicle for their wishes. And the Plavsky particle and Arista build on this. Each of these three elements is a manifestation of their will. But Gunpla doesn't merely manifest it, it exudes it, it takes their will and turns it into the energy that powers their battles. Battles that almost take on a life of their own, that bring out the more animistic and competitive sides of the fighters and in that a strange, impenetrable feeling of unity that leaps out of the screen. It's not something you put into words, but you, as the viewer, also feel it.
This ties into my second point; the very nature of the fighters. I will always look back at episode 11 as a turning point for my own view as to why people participated in competition. Sei and Reiji are targeted by a Giant Zaku, but the free-for-all battle they're all participating in is almost over and they're guaranteed a place in the best 16 if they avoid it. So...
they don't.
And it's not just them, all the fighters who put their lives into Gunpla come forward and fight it as well. This is the challenge, this is the thrill! This is a proof of their strong will! It was electrifying, almost dizzying, the distance they were all willing to go to climb each mountain however unnecessary. Because they are fighters, and they live for the experience. Because even this will make them stronger.
Every battle that comes up between these fighters in the series carries the same energy, to the point that there will be a time where each sides will and skills are so varied yet matched that you'll feel like you don't actually know who will win the battle.
And this is what carries Gundam Build Fighter's message, it's strength. It's why I love this show will all my heart.
Hopefully this actually contains serious plot.
So I did a bit of thinking, and realized that -- while I knew that Nana Mizuki portrayed Fate Testarossa and Tsubasa Kazanari, what I remember of Fate's and Tsubasa's voices is not actually their voices, but instead some sort of derived voice impression data drawn from association with Nana Mizuki and the songs she sings for those two series.
TLDR: I don't actually remember Fate's voice, but instead remember Nana Mizuki singing "Take a Shot" as Fate's voice.
It probably doesn't help that Fate doesn't really say much in Nanoha season 1, and when she does say stuff, it's mostly in a whisper.
----
Also, Gyakkou no Flügel > ORBITAL BEAT.
Nijiiro Flugel is better, just because I can't tell if it was even a good idea.
That does not sound like Precure dialogue.
Also new season of Tamagotchi. http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/tamagotchi/
But it doesn't matter because Tamagotchi never gets subbed. (and Go-Go Tamagotchi is a sequel to Miracle Friends anyway, I think, and that wasn't subbed either so...)
I have to wonder what else I'm missing out on because it never gets subbed and sites like Anichart just don't mention it...
Someone last week asked me what anime I watched recently.
Allison & Lillia, I answered. This was true, but then I remembered that I'd just gone back over like half of Nanoha season 1, a couple days prior. And just now I remembered that I watched Leviathan the Last Defense not long ago. Oh well. Maybe it's my built-in censor reminding me "these aren't shows to discuss in polite company". Or maybe just me lacking sleep and having shit memory.
> "these aren't shows to discuss in polite company"
well there's your problem.
Is this show inviting me to make Madoka Magica jokes?
It's just Pocky though.
Anyone can eat Pocky.
Yeah, but look at them. Especially the one offering it.
Also there's this other girl, who seems to fill the role of "character who doesn't like it when other people fight".
opinions on everything I've seen that started in March or later.
Nandaka Velonica: AOTYAY. Great visuals, cute characters, cute story, nice music. Too bad it's only 100 minutes total. NHK E pretty consistently puts out interesting anime (at least visually), and this is no exception. I actually like it more than Mari & Gali, and that is about a gothic lolita learning about science so it's kind of hard to beat, or something.
Keroro: "Kerokerokero ke-ke-ke!" Extremely catchy and kind of stupid OP, but the rest is kind of mediocre flash animation which I think is kind of charming but would anyone else agree with that? Somehow manages to fit in a fanservice shot involving tentacles. Otherwise is alright but I'd probably be disappointed if I were a fan of Keroro Gunsou, since this hardly seems like a fitting way to continue the 300+ episode anime series...
Majin Bone: Superhero anime about God-knows-what, because the first episode didn't really tell us. There are people who have Super Sentai/Kamen Rider/etc.-style outfits that fight each other and that's about all we learn about anything. Main character is special so he also gets super powers and presumably he has to use them to fight everyone else. Everything is fairly generic but at least the designs for their superhero(/villain?) outfits are sort of cool. MC's friend is extremely excitable about aliens, and that's kind of moe I guess.
Blade and Soul: So far, surprisingly not Queen's Blade. Everyone has giant boobs and minimal clothing, but it otherwise seems to be reasonably respectful of its characters (whatever that can even mean in this context) and doesn't really do any creepy stuff like Queen's Blade/Ikki Tousen/etc. so... good for Gonzo? Visually, looks pretty good, but actually it doesn't really look anything like the video game it's based on. This is kind of a problem because the Blade and Soul game has really nice art direction. Oh well. MC is kind of devoid of emotions and... likeability in general but that's sort of the point so it'll probably work itself out later on. Not sure if I'll continue watching.
selector infected WIXOSS: Worth watching to see how many scenes from Madoka and End of Evangelion they rip off. Also has the most annoying annoying character.
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou: Like Sakurasou na Pet no Kanojo except not but actually probably yes. Seems to be lacking in characters that are actually likeable. MC is evidently the kind of person who can fall in love with someone entirely because they are in a library, other male character guy is a masochist and this is his entire characterization, older woman lady drinks a lot and has terrible luck with boyfriends because anime, and main girl girl is I guess supposed to be likeable because she reads books and because one time she was drawn with sparkly eyes but mostly she doesn't have a personality yet.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders: Sequel to best anime of 2012. Going to be the best anime of 2014. (although actually I don't like Jotaro much so far, but that'll probably maybe hopefully change)
Kantoku Fuyuki Todoki: Pretty fun.
Lady Jewelpet: Absolutely nothing like the past three Jewelpet series, and not even really much like Jewelpet Tinkle. Watched half of the episode, then decided to stop until I've at least finished Happiness, so I can maybe stop trying to compare them. Also, OP doesn't really sound much like anime music, but it was clearly written for the show. Also, I'm reminded of the iDOLM@STER anime, since it seems like lady/ready is going to be a pun that happens.
Seikoku no Dragonar: Light Novel: the Animation. Within the first half of the first episode we get something like 10 different made-up terms thrown at us, not counting names of characters or countries. MC is abnormal by way of being the most normal, but by the end of the episode he's the most special! or something. Sudden naked magical tsundere loli girlfriend appearance! Other cliches! But it kind of manages to end up being fun one way or another, though unfortunately it takes itself more seriously than, say, Dog Days, which really ought to be the standard that cliche-storm fantasy anime aspire to be. Which I guess is just another way of saying I'm disappointed that Mamoru Miyano isn't in it, but you could say that about anything.
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii: Could be fun. Like Maoyuu but shoujo-y? Maybe. MC is likeable, so far show seems to balance comedy and seriousness well, and... well that's about it. But I do plan to keep watching this.
Kenzen Robo Daimidaler: It's probably technically possible to make the first 5 minutes of your show more offensive than this, but I'm not actually sure how. Didn't watch beyond 5 minutes.
Captain Earth: Is it just because they're both set in Tanegashima, or is there a better reason I'm reminded of Robotics;Notes? Also on the subject of Tanegashima, Byousoku 5cm's rocket launch scene was better than Captain Earth's, though I guess that's no surprise. Aaaaaanyway, animation was really good, direction was really good, stuff was set up interestingly, and there's singing and fabulous robots so I feel like I'm watching Star Driver again. All in all, good first episode and I want more.
Abarenbou Kishi!! Matsutarou: Somehow actually manged to have a less likeable MC than Daimidaler, though that might be because I was able to watch the entire episode. There may actually be character development later on in this show, but MC is such an asshole that it's kind of hard to watch. However, it is a Toei anime that isn't a million episodes long, so it is very nice looking, and sumo anime are pretty rare, so it might be worth watching anyway.
