Well, see, even though I actually have no obligations during the day right now, my parents get me up anyway, because...because.
I may ask after a week or two if I can get unbanned since it does seem like a kind of joking thing, but right now I'll consider it a vacation
Do Reddit mods and/or admins pull this stuff all the time?
Weird, but what I've seen of askreddit (which consists of a google search three seconds ago and reading two threads) it's probably normal... right?
Then he may or may not have a sliiiight god complex...
What I have learned from askreddit: All Jessicas are evil.
Hunh.
Reddit looks like a fun place to say random shit and possibly get away with it.
Well, now I have to wait until the third of July to finish trying out contacts because I dropped one of them on the floor (the left one, which I have yet to actually succeed with) and they didn't have any spares of that prescription. What the fuck?
Also, yesterday, I was at a friend's house, and he ended up taking some of my Magic cards at some point (my monoblack deck and my Mythic Rares). He ended up refusing to give them back and saying he forgot where he put them, even though I was expected back home soon and his parents weren't expecting to feed us. So I left, since I didn't want to participate in any of the countless stupid board games he had if it meant he was playing, and another friend brought them to me after I snitched the guy out to his mom. He's almost eighteen, I shouldn't have to tattle on him to get him to cut it out with a stupid joke. At the very least, it's the last time I'm bringing my cards to the same place he is, and at most I might stop talking to him because this sort of shit isn't really out of the ordinary for him.
ugh. fuck that guy, seriously.
I never managed to reliably put or take contacts off.
That feeling when your cat knocks your toothbrush into it's litterbox.
I...don't know that feel. But it sounds like it sucks.
burn it.
burn it all
Used to wear contacts myself.
They're kinda annoying, since you have to be very careful not to rub your eyes or anything while wearing them.
^ I think that'll be the worst part, when I actually have them. I'm at the point where it only takes ten or fifteen minutes to get the right one on, and it took like three tries to take it off, and once I get the one on the left in the first time, it should be much easier after that.
Maybe I'll just get a monocle for my left eye instead, who knows?
If I got them by July 3 (this is, of course, assuming that the stupid people there give me more than an hour to try the contacts), do you think they might be normal-ish by August 23? >_>
Better than no cash because whenever you have money, apparently nobody else in the house has and they borrow your money without paying.
Only if you're not Sollux.
So, I officialy graduated from high school.
hooray
go and get drowned in bitches
@Juan: I wouldn't actually spend them. I just carry them around because.
@Bastion: So not weird then.
oh, is that like one of those things you collect around
(neeerd)
There was this guy at MIT who would get $2 bills from the bank just because he could, and he'd give them to people as change or gifts.
I think I ended up with a few $2 indirectly because of him.
Dunno where I put them though.
Congrats, Milos.
Also, happy belated birthday, Fourteenwings. Try not to fly so damn high.
In other news, I just finished season two of Game of Thrones. Pretty freakin' sweet, although we only really have one more season of awesome before A Feast For Crows/A Dance With Dragons is collected into a singular fourth season. Which might work, given proper compression, but A Feast For Crows was very dull, dreary and actively difficult to read. All the same, the third book has been the high point of the books for me and the third season promises to be the same.
The one thing I think we can definitely take from ASOIAF as generally awesome (and basically its own complete arc) is Jon Snow's story over the first three books. It would be interesting if, after the release of the third season DVD, someone recut them to form a singular Jon Snow storyline with his time in the Night's Watch as the absolute focus. That way we'd have a complete arc and storyline before everything shits out as per the fourth book -- hell, Jon Snow's story is neatly divided into three acts by the end of the third book anyway. And this is just pure opinion speaking, but I find the Night's Watch the most interesting part of the setting, the most interesting to read about and the most interesting to watch in the show.
I still have a mental image of fourteenwings as femKite.
If the break point at the end of season 3 ends up being the Red Wedding I may have to kill something.
