how long before we can torrent a convention
as in, like download the people and everything into your house just so you don't hafta go out of your house to get your dose of social interaction
^^^, ^ It's only a matter of time . . .
^^ Yeeeaaah . . .
^ It's not the social interaction and leaving the house I have a problem with, it's that conventions have lots of cool stuff that costs money, and CDs cost money (if you're buying legitimately, which I have been for years, for everything I can reasonably obtain, so I don't plan on stopping that any time soon)
I can't remember the last time I saw it. Must've been a while. But I remember it not being too terrible.
I'm going through SA's 4e D&D CharOp thread, and I can tell that it's really been too long since I played this edition. Which is too bad, because overall it's my favorite edition of D&D, and it's undeniably more balanced than 3e (without severe modifications like E6, at least).
Another cube draft last night. The card pool has changed considerably since the last one. I made a G/U aggro-control with a load of creatures with enter-the-battlefield abilities, Fauna Shaman and Birthing Pod, plus Anger and a Mountain. I wanted to make it an U/G Madness but it didn't work out. I thought I'd do better, but ended up 2-2.
INUH, this is bizarre. I just watched The Grey last night too!
It was good. Solid all around. My dad and I kind of had a running commentary going but we do that a lot.
We didn't mind the ending, but my mom did when she asked us how it ended. She really hates endings like that.
Idiocracy's OK, but it has some rather dumb moments here and there, and anyone who pretends it's an accurate despiction of the future can fuck off, really.
Oh god, this. It's like people look at satire and try to espouse it whole sale because they didn't realize certain parts were exaggerated to create hilarious pokes at a certain issue, nope, instead it's "lol, I know how the futures gonna be, look at idiocracy"
/facepalm.
The US president is not going to be a Black latino luchador biker? I am dissappoint.
Well, most of it is inaccurate.
So... being Country Strong is never giving up and always getting back up and... committing suicide because you can't deal with your problems?
Oh, and it's my birthday.
Happy birthday!

Oh man Hu Gibbert's death in the 2nd Night Angel book is the best kind of slapstick. Horrifying black humor slapstick.
Happy birthday fourteen wings. May you grow many more.
