Just went and watched Dark Shadows.
It was... weird. It took itself seriously, but it was like it knew that it was taking itself seriously, and that somehow made everyone realize the absurdity of it, which built up the humour in everyone's mind.
And they had some creepy effects at the end- like the witch. That was fucking creepy.

My pleasure.
*stabs Juan*
just know that...that...i've always loathed you.
On your tumblr? How do image screen tumblrs get so popular, while I see some tutorials on drawing or writing get like fifty at most.
Because tutorials are honestly shitty at best and forget that the most important part about learning how to write or draw is practice practice practice.
oh and patience.
either that, or, you know, most people are not into drawing or writing.
tumblr has always been seriously iffy to me.
Meh, it's a social network, and as such, it's got issues, because it turns out that (And braze yourself for this, because it's a doozy) people use it.
But otherwise, it's good for my need of a simple blog without having to do the microblogging thing that twitter does.
hey, forzare
did you ever check planetary or what
oh.
sorta good, then. make it good or else, soldier. >
Planetary? Is that a game?
Comic book.
A (small) firm called me out of nowhere for an interview about an internship this monday, now I'm nervous (I already sucked at answering the phone).
Best of luck, man.
35 issues into Fables...BORED NOW.
Man, really?
I loved it until issue 60-something.
Read the first volume of Lucifer today, and the second volume's waiting in the wings.
So far, the atmosphere of both it and its parent series seem to be much the same (although Lucifer might be a little less literate), but I honestly think Lucifer is a much more compelling character than Dream.
Dream's not really that interesting, to be honest. I liked him and lot and his arc because lol personal reasons, but yeah, I don't think you read Sandman because of Dream. You read it because, well, it's Sandman, man. It's a comic that goes to untold places.
Yeah, it started off really strongly, but I started getting sick of it when there was like a three month jump after every issue.
I think my issue with it was that the original main cast started to slowly fade away and a lot of the background characters were not really that interesting, while Willingham was trying too hard to make them work, which...well, he didn't really fail at, at lot of the time (Flycatcher and Boy Blue become quite interesting, for example) but over time, even them go away to make space fo Pinocchio.
Sign that you really, REALLY need to practice your Japanese:
When you can't understand even simple phrases from Pokemon trailers and games
goddammit Skyrim
there is no reason for me to suffering random dragon attacks at level 8
there just isn't
Yeah, dragons are kinda weak for level 8 characters. There are mods to make the difficulty more appropriate.
^o.o^ I was just called back by Wok Box and they want me in on Sunday for training
Thanks.
It'd be useful to know what the firm is called, silly secretary leaving out details like that.
Called it! Admittedly not as soon as that, but called it.
Dude, everyone and their mom did.
So, after some deliberation with a few friends, we have come to the conclusion that Brian K Vaughan, Brian Michael Bendis and Grant Morrison should assemble and form a Bald Writers’ Legion comic. (Warren Ellis optional)
