I figured, I just wanted to make the joke.
In any case, I'm re-reading neuromancer and the tiny font is killer on my eyes. I miss the ability to change font size on kindles.
but what ever happened to purple anyway
Well, if you go by the rainbow purple is two colors for some reason I never got that a scientist could probably explain.
Huh. It's a non-spectral colour, so I can see it.
Writing a ghost story right now. It's set in high school and the catskills where I grow up. I don't really ascribe to 'write what you know' but I think the place has some enviromental aspects in common with the setting of some rural J-horror stuff I liked so I'm hoping to capture the essence of isolation and decrepitude a lot of them have.
And I am going to play TOR again!
I'm logging more hours into it than I have even Skyrim.
Time to stay upstairs for two months.
Was just playing ME3 multiplayer with a friend. Some weird glitch came up where I couldn't deal damage or be injured, but could carry out mission objectives. Made things significantly easier.
lol, magic the gathering
Do blue and orange magic when used together let you teleport between specifically prepared surfaces?
Man, American Vampire is right up there with Batman as among the best comics DC is releasing.
I'm sure it's a coincidence Snyder is writing both.
Technically American Vampire is Vertigo. But still, fuckawesome. And yeah good DC/Vertigo stuff at the moment.
-Batman
-Animal Man
-Swamp Thing
-All Star Western
-American Vampire
-And apparently Frankenstein: Agent of SHADE
No.
Why do I want to meet the horse depicted in this logo?
...'course, that logo's old enough that he's probably dead by now, if it was based on a real horse.
Vertigo's an imprint of DC so I say it still counts.
Also, you forgot Demon Knights.
And Flash. And Justice League Dark.
After Seven Soldiers, I'm rather hestitant to pick up Frankenstein. >_>
it's not like it was particularly bad, but it wasn't as amazing as Mister Miracle, Zatanna or Shining Knight were to me.
It's good. It's not amazing, but it's a lot of fun. It's basically a whole bunch of Super science adventures. It's reminiscent of Hellboy which is never a bad thing, though it's obviously not as good.
I object to Flash on principal since it has become yet another vehicle for John's nostalgia-mobile.
Ooh I think I kinda like how Gage as a writer can have insecure and psychologically damaged characters get over their issues to the point of being functional, but still be haunted by their inner demons. Both this week's Angel and Faith and X-Men Legacy did that really well for me. Not so much of a fan of how he loves comic-book solutions, (two people with copying powers cancel each other out to save the day!) and (making the demon that feeds on angst feed on itself causes the angst to go back to everybody because... that's how it works). So I guess I like Gage for characterization and set ups, resolutions I'm a little iffy on though I guess.
Malk - old Hellboy or newer Hellboy? Because I think ever since The Wild Hunt story, Hellboy has dipped in quality pretty hard.
Eh, I can see your point but the current Flash is what I want the Flash to be. Crazy soft sci-fi adventures with lots of actions that involve running really fast.
Nothing like writing again for the first time in months to remind me of how tedious lifeguarding is (decided to tackle a certain idea for the umpteenth time). If I get this bored with people-watching, I can't imagine how fucked I am for a more normal job.
shit
why isn't it available for download yet
Crake: Broad strokes Hellboy. Like the same basic principles of what would appeal to a Hellboy fan but it results in a different beast.
And for shame. Post Wild Hunt had Hellboy fighting vampires Lucha Libre style.
Nova - because scanners scan as they wilst. It is deep magic to try to determine their thought processes.
And Malk's superhero comic pull list is explained.
And fighting vampires Lucha Libre Style is great and all, but it doesn't make up for the resolution to Hellboy's character arc being kinda boring and disjointed.
damn them
Argh, I will have to watch the wire second season by torrents now, I've missed the finale and the third season started already.
Oh man. The Wire's second season finale is probably my favourite. (If season 4 wasn't a thing)
Oh well, that's gotta wait after I finish the semester. Fluid Mechanics waits for no one. And neither does Circuits III
Impatient motherfuckers, all of them.
It decided to not like D-Link again
And now I KNOW it isn't the antennae. It connects to D-Link even on Windows 7, and the connection only dies once I log in
Hay Alex
Come play TOR again
