As for the Korra stuff, I dunno I think they will address some of those questions. At the very least somebody will retort that Bending is kinda necessary for the society they have built. No more benders means no more cheap and plentiful electricity or fast earth or water transit. I dunno I'll give them the benefit of the doubt about how they will handle the issue of the Equalists.
As for the argument that there were no gay characters in the Star Wars movie, that's just because Lucas was too chickenshit to include Han and Chewbacca's scene in the final cut.

The Progressive Conservatives have maintained their huge dominance in Alberta in the recent election. I'm conflicted, because on one hand, the terrible Wildrose Party is a moot threat, but on the other hand, they are only so because of our shitty first-past-the-post system (they received more than 1/3 of the popular vote). So yay, I guess?
