Because Monopoly is fun once it gets going.
Or maybe I just have too much fun being a dick while I'm winning (played a game recently; bankrupted two guys, and the other was a cheater who refused to pay, so it was basically a victory for me). Didn't last too long, either.
The game I played recently lasted maybe four hours. Though it only involved four people, and I was immensely lucky.
I'd play, if that did happen.
Just don't put money on Free Parking, makes the game go quicker.
Last time I played Monopoly, my friend's girlfriend got pissed that she was losing and left the table and locked herself in my friend's bedroom and demanded that they have sex. While I (and another friend) were in the house.
So yeah. >.>
^^ Where does it go, then? Do you just keep it?
^ That's hilarious, man. Hilariously awkward for you, though. Luckily none of my friends have girlfriends, so that wouldn't be a worry for me.
It just goes back to the bank.
Ah. I guess that works.
EDIT: And, of course, while I'm cleaning stuff out from under the bed, I find my DM screen. -sigh-
Everest just asking if anyone was interested in an online Monopoly game with each other.
Don't know when, though.
On a sort of related note, if anyone is still up for that Pokemon Online multitype thing we were planning before, I would be glad to help organize that.
It really annoys me that, when trying to maintain my goatee, I always end up having to leave a tiny bit of excess hair on the sides or shaving off more than I should and screwing everything over.
Thanks for that tumblr InsanityAddict, have this (though I'm sure you already know about it)
You know what, I know I should drop it already, but I'll say that and then drop it, instead. So, you know what's funny with the Goons in that thread (and, I think, I also saw that on BTL)? When them guys decide that something is bad, and suddenly everyone who was into that starts acting as if they realised the breadth of their horrible sins and engages in frenzy of verbal self-flagellation.
@nohay
Actually, I didn't. This oughta be a hilarious read.
> I kind of lost interest with the Goons' antics, then I saw that, and now I again feel that old urge to post shit in threads they are reading.
And if you, you'll be considered for a ban, on the grounds of drama exporting.
> ^ They're pretty much pretzels shaped like Goldfish cracker. Seriously, they don't have any Goldfish cracker characteristics other than the shape. I have no idea what the point is.
fish-shaped crackers
fish-shaped candies
fish-shaped volatile organic compounds
> > What is a pretzel made of, anyway?
> Dough.
Haha, literally and figuratively.
> Monster Hunter
I think I saw the manga once at Barnes & Nobles. The cover looked vaguely interesting. I don't have any idea what the story is about.
> I am not sure about interesting commentary, but I think most people would say that blowing a 9 to 0 lead near the end of game like the Red Sox did is pretty awful. Losing to the Yankees like that probably makes it worse to some too though some of that may just be how hyped up those two teams are.
Funny thing is how I'm a Red Sox fan but not really a Sox fan.
Here's what I mean: I don't pay any attention to Sox-related news on my own. The only time I express an opinion on it is when someone else tells me about it, and my opinion is solely directed toward favoring the Sox's winning and being awesome and stuff.
I guess it's more like I have a Sox alignment on the Red Sox - Yankess alignment axis.
> Huh. Never seen USB headphones.
I have a USB mike.
> A lot of the better headsets like Turtle Beach use USB.
Turtle Beach is still around?
They made the CD-ROM drive that we put into our first computer.

INUH confirmed for vulnerable to moë
> I wonder if we could get enough people here together to play an online Monopoly game.
Ooh.
> ^ Why would you ever want to do that?
To see how long it takes for the game to become utterly boring and consisting purely of people rolling dice and paying rent.
> ^ That's hilarious, man. Hilariously awkward for you, though. Luckily none of my friends have girlfriends, so that wouldn't be a worry for me.
I don't think that's the right approach to the problem.
> It just goes back to the bank.
...whuh? what kind of bank you talkin' 'bout, the semen bank?
Hm, would that be exporting or importing?
Does it really matter?
Exporting.
> Does it really matter?
No.
Well, I wouldn't like to be banned for exporting drama if what I did was importing.
You'd still be banned either way though
so
It matters only for tax reasons.
Last day of the holidays and I've got an essay to do wheeeeeeeeee fuck English.
finally, he understands
What I want to know is why the subject isn't called "Literature Studies". We haven't studied the language itself since before Year 10.
