I'd say the problem is more that the second person hasn't heard of google, really.
But seriously, the way I see it, erotism and sex are just parts of what makes human life so, well, human. Denying them out of art and media seems wrong to me, especially because the reason we do so is because of made up social standards rather than any innate reason to them. With that said, we still live in a society and it's necessary to respect each other's boundaries as well as their own restrictions, both mental and otherwise, so there's no point in flaunting around your sexual attraction to a fictional character unless you're talking to people who you're confident won't feel awkward about it.
