    Ugh. Out of morbid curiosity, I had to check out Confused Matthew's "review" of The Lion King. How the fuck does anyone not understand simple things like the idea that a "good guy" is not necessarily a flawless paragon of virtue, that a child's brain does not operate on the same level as an adult's, or that it's not just one person that makes something happen? It's like he wants no subtlety, just everything made incredibly obvious.

    I cannot believe that he sincerely believes what he says. He must just be contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.

    Read almost 100 pages of Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell a couple hours ago. The fact that that's the most I've read in one sitting in a while (not counting 1984, which was for class) kinda bugs me.

    As does the fact that I haven't applied to any damn colleges yet.

    Did you have to get recommendation letters/evaluations from teachers? Cause the biggest thing holding me back is that my teachers have been kinda slow about that.
