But you never had any to begin with.
Save splash damage stuff for facehuggers. Adult Aliens, depending
on the game, should be handled with weak plasma caster shots (AvP2) or a
combination of low cost projectile combat and close combat.

Yeah, I was playing AvP 2 at the time. Ended up just plasmacasting facehuggers, on the grounds that missing a shot on one of those little bastards is the worst possible thing to do. Finished the Pred campaign, at any rate. Now just got the *shudder* Marine campaign left.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
It's easier. Srs. Marine weapons are more versatile and efficient.
  • But you never had any to begin with.
But it's also more scary! :<
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
    Stay frosty.
  • Remember: short, controlled bursts.
  • Apparently my first draft of a 5-7 page paper is less than one page long and in bullet-point form.

Somehow I feel like I'm doing just a little bit too little... >.>

At the same time though, I am way too tired to do anything more, so whatever.

    Grr Steam.
Why say you have the DLC up but forget to actually attach the code for it.

    (warning: Pokegirls)

"**Linda McKenzie, an ambitious reporter, wrote a scathing article on the local Mad Scientist's habit of home-growing anthro sex slaves. In revenge, he turned her into his mindless sex toy. This is treated as righteous karmic justice."

"*** Well, she lied about what she found so she could sell news, caused the death of all he loved (HeroicSacrifice and nearly him), used his tragedy as a tool for power for years,{{Demonization}} demonized everything he ever did until he became but a cheap Strawman and when the chips where down, refused to take blame of anything she did. And they where his wifes, not her anthro sex slaves. Whether becoming a simple AndIMustScream sentient Doll is LaserGuidedKarma Karmic DisproportionateRetribution Justice YourMileageMayVary is up to opinion, PayEvilUntoEvil the bitch had to go down. ''Hard''. "

At least someone had the sense to take that horrid rebuttal down. But it sickens me to think of how many people actually think that way.

I haven't read it nor I intend to,so I'll ask. Does Pokegirls have anything to do with Pokemon or is it just the name?
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
^As I understand it, it's basically Pokemon but instead of superpowered animals, it's superpowered fetish caricature sex slaves.

Seems Hulu have got nearly all of series 1 of Mongrels available to watch for those of you in the US.

On the plus side, I qualified for the state swim meet in the 100 backstroke again.

^If they're not finished yet, try bugging them again. They might've forgotten.

I just sent out a reminder email today. One of them says she'll have it done by tomorrow, and I can ask the other tomorrow after school, while I'm working out with the swim team.
  • a little muffled
So I just finished the Skyrim story. The ending was epic as hell. Given how much dicking around I did over the course of doing the story, I've also done a lot of the other stuff in the game, and I've gotten kinda bored of this character anyway, so I might be calling this playthrough done.

I've just about finished the supplement for Colby College. Now I should see about having someone review my essay that I know will actually respond in a timely manner.

EDIT: When submitting supplements for colleges, how much brown-nosing should I do in the "why do you want to come here" sections?
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Wolverine and The X-men is the best X-book in a long time.

"Sex Ed with Professor Remy LeBeau"

    Oh dear oh dear.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
Goddamn, Lostprophets, stop being so good.

  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Also I'm pretty sure Jeff Lemire wrote Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. specifically for me and any enjoyment you might be getting from it is incidental.
  • Am I permitted to talk about Something Awful if it's not about the you-know-what thread? Because I really do enjoy seeing what they have to say about a lot of things.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
SA isn't blacklisted so so long as you're not setting out to cause drama I can't see the harm. Ask the mods though.
  • Has friends besides tanks now
    Yeah, that's fine.

Yeah, definitely nothing to do with drama.

A lot of members over there seem to be fairly elaborate at saying why they like or don't like something and their reasons are solid. It's nice to only have minimal mindless fanboy gushing or meaningless bashing. One of the things that got me interested was what they had to say about James Rolfe, namely that his skits might not be that good, but he succeeds by being a genuinely likeable person. Also, reading their Simpsons thread made me interested in checking out some of the old episodes again since they nailed a lot of the reasons why they were so good.

Somewhat related, I don't know why some people are so hostile to media analysis. At its core, a significant part of it is about explaining why you like something, and considering how many people complain that they aren't good at explaining why they like something, I'd expect a warmer reception to the idea.

Argh my grades are out. I think I might have to do what INUH is doing. Or at least change majors. Argh fuck organic chemistry, fuck it to hell.

At least my dad didn't blow up like I thought they would, that's some peace of mind right there.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
I think I might have to do what INUH is doing
Err...let's not talk about that...let's just say a good deal of stuff is very up in the air for me right now.
