Posting because interesting. And also not suggesting physical violence. That's always good.
See my post on the other thread you linked that in for why I find the portions of that absurdly-long article I could stand reading to be stupid.
Oh, you moved it here and blanked that post. Guess I'll do the same:
Quite the opposite.
I've never understood the "if a company ever does something bad, you can't buy anything at all from them, even completely unrelated good stuff" mentality. I mean, if people do that, the company has absolutely no way of figuring out what it is that made the boycotters angry, so they'll do the only thing they can do and ignore them. If you want a company to improve, you need to buy the things that are good and avoid the things that are bad, so they can look at what's making money and what's not and go "oh, so doing stuff like this is good and doing stuff like that is bad. We'll endeavor to do more good stuff in the future."
Didn't completely agree with him. Just wanted something to do or read tonight.
....
Is anyone still playing Pokemon Online here?
The Ni no Kuni English trailer makes it impossible not to want it. PS3 JRPGs are looking good this year.
Yes, a special online shop that sells high level weapons and promotion items for in-game money.
What the fuck?
Seriously, what the fuck?
Yep. Zoroark/Infernape rules.
... Did I miss the context for this?
707ruz's download speed goes at 338 bytes.
Oh.
Eight achivments then I'm done with the binding of Issac.
JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB -TIME OVER-
Yo Neo Crimson, can I have a coupon for Portal or are they over or something?
^Nope, it's still vaild for a good 2 weeks or so. Just get on Steam and I'll trade it to you.
Finally learned two effective means of grinding money in La-Mulana. Both involve using the green fairy, of course.
Just played the Recettear demo. T'was fun. Except the dungeons.
I like the dungeons, but I do feel like they take up too much time.
Is $7.50 for a used copy of Megaman Network Transmission complete with box and manual worth it?
No. It's not very good.
But its music is awesome...
So listen to the music. The game isn't worth any price.
Okay, what do you like about it (other than the music)?
^ And what don't you like about it?
I'll admit that I might be overestimating its badness because I haven't played it since it came out. Most of what I remember about it is that I bought it, went home, put it in my Gamecube, played it for maybe thirty minutes to an hour, took it out of my Gamecube and never touched it again.
I don't remember all that much about it, but IIRC it wasn't very fun and the controls kind of sucked.
I'm trying to remember though. Been a long time since I've played it. All I know is that it wasn't the worst game I've ever played. Memory sucks right now.
Well, there's faint praise if I ever saw it.
I guess I can add this to the list of games I want to get because of the music.
The list has so far included Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Mega Man 6, and Wild ARMs 4. Maybe Tail 'Gator and Volley Fire.
Symphony of the night and Megaman 6 are actually really good games though (dunno about the others). Megaman Network Transmission isn't. It's just... really slow and boring and has awkward controls and Battle Network's mechanics don't translate well (or at all) into a 2D platformer.
Better SNES emulators than ZSNES. Shoot.
SNES9x. Better integration with Windows UI.
