^^Yeah, but that wouldn't work because multiple people would come into his shop and read it.
^Calixto's shop.
And I think if you read it any time other than when you're supposed to, it temporarily blinds you.
It does, but only temporarily. I'm just curious to know if you can read it too much and suffer for it.
Awww.
Giants are really way too weak. Did a patch make them less powerful or something?
I have a lot of armor, so it might just be that.
I will, I will.
Come to think of it, maybe this thread should just be renamed to "The Elder Scrolls"? I dunno.
Also, turns out that even though I've barely invested anything into my Argonian's Archery skill, his Glass Bow now does 105 damage with the Smithing abuse and the Ancient Shrouded Cowl. The game seems to be telling me I should use bows more often... which is exactly what I'll do.
EDIT: Woah. If I use Ebony Arrows and stay out of sight, I can actually OHK giants with this thing.
Well, well. Just when I was ready to give up on doing the extra Thieves' Guild work, Delvin finally gives me the Whiterun reputation job. It's about fucking time.
Just thought of something: Has anyone here tried putting Deadly Aversion to Fire... on a Bow of Fire?
Makes it deal additional damage.
Well, yes, but is it an OHK or not? (Remember that "Deadly Aversion" means 100% added weakness.)
No, I believe it works in percentages added to the original damage.
Ah, alright then.
I have to abuse Smithing a bit, too, I'd definitely appreciate my stuff better. Although I have to stock up on dragon scales and stuff first.
↑ Not anymore, they don't — there was a patch that made Smithing experience gains proportional to the value of the items created.
And besides, even before that, iron daggers were less efficient than gold necklaces in terms of gold spent to experience gained.
Yes this is relevant because I only made them because Skyrim >
I'MFUNNY
I just realized that most of my individual pieces of armor exceed the cap. I thought it was higher >.>
Imma just in a while max out Enchant, so I'm making myself a pimped-out set of Dragonscale and I'm ready to go back to the main quest.
^^^ Yeah, the guards won't help me if they get stolen
I can't find the switch, but I can noclip through the secret door and get to them.
Okay, watched a Youtube vid, and I can confirm that the switch isn't where it's supposed to be.
I looted the guy anyway because CHIM says I can.
Ah daaamn, forgot to ask it. So let me ask it now. The time, does it flow when you craft items? I have plenty to do, whole dragonscale set and a glass bow (I'll make myself a better one) and then improve them, and I wonder if I can do it all under a potion's effect. Same for enchanting the set.
I kinda get the impression that it doesn't, even though NPCs still move and stuff.
