Why?
Those are the same prices as the U.S. region, and the same currency.
The gifts were successfully purchased and delivered, only to have Steam refuse to add them to my Steam library due to region restrictions.
This proves that even with a 0% price difference there can be region restrictions on Steam that prevent gifting. This is annoying and disappointing, of course.
