@Bluesy_Cowgirl: It apparently depends on the cat, and I had three cats before this whose teeth and gums were all fine their whole lives. So I just figured that most cats' teeth would be fine without brushing based on personal experience, and it was a surprise to find out that it's only 33.3%.
Anyhoo, it doesn't hurt that the toothpaste is chicken-flavoured and edible. She might not particularly like having the toothbrush in the back of her mouth for any length of time, but she always licks it clean after I finish up.
Besides food and stuff needed to survive, all the Open Courseware material, several books of related topics (especially EECS ones), plus guides and whatever else might be useful for studying and thus become powerful.
Speaking of which, I kind of tried to retake it (I gave up on a homework problem and didn't continue afterwards). It's kind of gotten hard to keep going without the motivation of failing courses for real.
Also, my mother has recommended me against doing a Master's, which kind of surprised me since she'd always been on the pro-education side. I'd disregard her advice but she's a former university professor so maybe she knows things.
Also because doing a Master's means I'd have to do another thesis *shudders*They are actually making the bloody Fox & Friends crew seem sensible by comparison, which takes a special kind of insanity.
I used to follow and engage with Sameera there, due to agreeing with her on issues that had nothing to do with Russia or the USSR, but her opinions on Russia-related stuff became more and more irritating, and the tweet above was the straw that broke the camel's back and made me decide "You know what? Fuck her. Unfollowing."
I mean for FUCK'S sake, what the hell does an increase in the USSR's population have to do with Stalin's body count?!
Was the guy in the video saying "Well, it was okay for Stalin to kill all those people, because there was still a net gain in the population"? Because that's fucking disgusting.
Or did he mean "There were more people and not enough food to go around, which is why people died in the Ukraine famine, not because Stalin decided to just make them all starve"? If that's his position, then why didn't he say that in so many words?
I've seen other tankies talk about how Stalin was a good man, and how the kulaks had it coming. Which...no, just fucking no. You deranged shitstains.
I'll be the first to admit that capitalism in its present form is fucked up and unfair, and that we need a different system to replace it. But how ANYBODY reaches the conclusion that the Soviet version of communism is the perfect thing to replace it with, and how some of those people admire the most brutal leader the Soviet Union ever had to boot? That is beyond me.
I hate tankies. I hate imperialism and imperialists too, but the enemy of your enemy isn't necessarily your friend, and definitely isn't in this case.

Speaking of socialism, I made use of consumerism day to buy my mother a tablet, it was really cheap (a Fire HD 7 for $30) though I'm not sure if she'll use it much. The relatives I shipped it to should be arriving soon.
Also since yesterday I've been smelling cigar smoke a lot.

Anyhows, I'm not feeling well. My muscles are weary and my joints hurt.
But I haven't had luck with crime recently at (my) home. Two days ago someone stole a garden hose (presumably used something to reach it, then pulled until setting it lose), and this morning someone cut off a bunch of metal spikes from part of the front fence, those spikes prevent breaking through the gap between the gate and the fence, although even without those spikes the gap is not large enough for an adult to go through (at least not without bending the base they're on) so maybe the intention wasn't to break in but to steal those spikes, supported by the fact the cables from the lamplight there were also stolen, but contradicted by the fact that four (out of nine) spikes were left on the ground, although that can be explained by the fact that without the lamplight working it may be too dark to retrieve fallen objects.
Regardless, it's something more to be fixed.
Besides that, I'm done watching over those relatives' home, so I guess I'm free again.
Mind you, they probably didn't break in but simply used something to reach it from the outside. On the other hand a neighbor of the restaurant I used to work in did have someone break into her seemingly well-fortified home to steal a hose. So...
A few years ago I made the conscious decision to sort of just ride out the Christmas train and not really take part but by the last week of November this year I'd changed most the music in my life to Christmasier stuff and was listening to Disney Channel star versions of Christmas songs when I wasn't doing that.
By the last week of December I was done with Christmas shopping for people, and I've amassed a ridiculous amount of festive Christmas wrapping paper that I'll never get through.
