    That it was. It was (it still is I guess?) also one of those "life is much easier when you don't ask" things and I feel like that's one of the worst lessons to learn/philosophies to apply (even though I was the one who did it).

    I'm not very smart. I put too much spicy sauce on my food, which turns out to be very spicy, so I tried eating it slowly while drinking plenty of water, after a while I became dizzy at which point I remembered drinking too much water can be deadly.

    I guess I'll have to eat this very slowly.

    On unrelated news, I've begun writing my first 'serious' software, a program for drawing practice, for some reason I couldn't find any. It looks like crap but so far it's serving me well.

    I considered getting rid of my smartphone and downgrading to a dumbphone but I would probably be lost without my GPS so I guess I'll just keep carrying around my mini-tablet.

    ^ I usually see stuff like that posted by self-described "libertarian", "pro-liberty", "anarcho-capitalist" or other such types fond of arguing that serfdom was actually quite fun. (Why would a proponent of personal liberty be fond of a system of forced servitude is a mystery to me too.)

    Speaking of free time, although I've been more productive lately spending a few hours per day improving at something, I've still felt down by the fact that I could be doing even more. I wonder if it's one of those normalization things where one can never be satisfied.

    I think that's it, yeah. Otherwise you settle into the sort of complacency that leads to skipping out and then resetting to where you originally where.

    Lately I've been thinking about fashion and how if you insist on wearing lots of designer stuff you will start to look like either a gentrified gangster guy or a bland person who wears all the beige (though that's not beige's fault).

    Unless you're willing to go out in (and pay for) this.

    It's really hard to hate fast fashion places when they have such awesome ridiculous variety in stuff in terms of colour and style.
