  Incidentally, there used to be a (controversial) long section about how pages on Tvtropes have undergone Flanderization as well as Slippery Trope and Trope Decay, which I found useful for people who didn't use the forums and was probably one of the catalysts for the Trope Repair Shop. Of course, even back then people were insisting there was nothing wrong with the site.

  Alas, the examples and the Flanderization page have been purged now. And yet they allow all sorts of bullshit Real Life examples bordering on Troper Tales / Safe Mass Guessing.

  One more thing, the people on Tvtropes are just as pissed off about the silencing of internal criticism as us.
