    I'm pretty sure it's a joke about how a lot of the Pokedex entries for Pokemon make absolutely no sense, and sound like they were just made up by a 10-year-old.

    Alakazam: In Red/Blue-

    Wears the skull of its deceased mother. Its cries echo inside the skull and come out as a sad melody.

    Donphan-

    Gold-

    It has sharp, hard tusks and a rugged hide. Its Tackle is strong enough to knock down a house.

    Drifloon-

    Pearl-

    It tugs on the hands of children to steal them away. However, it gets pulled around instead.

    Grimer-

    FireRed-

    Sludge exposed to X rays from the moon transformed into Grimer. It loves feeding on filthy things.

    Hitmonchan-

    The spirit of a pro boxer has infused this Pokémon. It throws punches that are faster than a bullet train.

    Born deep underground, this Pokémon becomes a pupa after eating enough dirt to make a mountain.

    Magcargo's body temperature is approximately 18,000 degrees F. Water is vaporized on contact. If this Pokémon is caught in the rain, the raindrops instantly turn into steam, cloaking the area in a thick fog.

    Castelia Gym has been obliterated. Most difficult thing to deal with there were the Dwebbles owing to their high Def and my lack of Super Effective moves.

    Took them out by having Wheatley spam Rock Smash and using  several Super Potions. This run definitely requires having a large Potion stock. 

    I expect the fight with Elesa to be extremely difficult. Going to base my strategy around the use of Retaliate. Send out Santacular and Galtieri and have her KO them then use Wadsworth and Wheatley's boosted Retaliate next turn for massive damage. With any luck it'll pull me through. 

    Just for reference:

    Wadsworth = Watchog
    Wheatley = Furret
    Rattington = Raticate
    Leeksworth = Farfetch'd
    Santacular = Delibird
    Galtieri = Sunkern

    Also fuck Legendaries, regular Pokemon are where it's at.

    ^We never got that Colosseum either. It looked cool. Unless I'm missing something.

    But given that they're the most powerful, they could show off the destruction to its best. Who wouldn't want to see Groudon bring an entire stadium to rubble with an Earthquake, or Kyogre cover it in deluge of water with Surf?

    Okay, those. Seeing Groudon cover the entire arena in fire with Eruption would be awesome.

    We didn't get enviromental destruction, Pokemon actually hitting each other, no cuts between things (such as Pokemon fainting without a cut), and the cinematic stuff makes it look much better.
