I'm currently running around the Desert Resort (Both the Exp and the Rock Tomb TM are going to be absolutely necessary preparations for the fight with Elesa) and I'm getting FANTASTIC mileage out of Retaliate. 

This move is so good, especially when your mons are underpowered early game trash mons like mine.

EDIT: Just realised none of my Mons can learn Rock Tomb. FUCK. Guess I'm back to relying entirely on Retaliate for those damn Emolgas. 

DOUBLE EDIT: HOLY FUCKING BALLS SANTACULAR IS FUCKING USELSS. SHE JUST LOST TO A FUCKING GOTHITA THAT USED NOTHING BUT DOUBLESLAP BECAUSE HER STUPID HUSTLE ABILITY MEANT THAT EVERY ATTACK SHE TRIED TO DO FUCKING MISSED. 

At this point I think I might just trade her out for an Emolga or something because godamn this isn't fun/challenging it's just aggravating. 

Do you guys think it would be cheating to switch it out for an Emolga or Liepard or something?

Galtieri has now evolved into Sunflora, making him officially the teams biggest hitter. He's slow as a sack of old bricks and frail but Quick Claw and Mega Drain can help with that. 

Got Return and Thunder Wave TM's from Nimbasa PokeMart which definitely helps with movesets. Heading back to clear out the rest of Desert Resort for Exp now that Santacular got a one way ticket to the Moon for being shit.

You're forgetting, most Elephants in Pokemon are Phanpy and Donphan. Thunderbolt ain't gonna do shit to Donphan. Grass Knot will do some significant damage, Surf too if you're lucky enough to have one that knows it, but Thunderbolt? No.

They reference actual animals that exist in Pokemon, which bugs me. I think one of the entries mentioned the Antartica, and a few of them mention animals that don't exist in their own world.

They also mention real world places. Arcanine is a Chinese legend, Xatu is a divinity in South America, Mew comes from Guyana, and Ponyta can jump the Tokyo Tower

I wonder if they do nasty ghost shit to each other, like anal haunting.

They have pretty huge mouths and long tongues, so I would only imagine they probe each other with them, and can cum anywhere they want in each other's bodies since they are incorporal. Do Gengar dicks have spines?

Unfortunately since they are also Poison-type that means facials would get the reciever very sick, and instead of white it would probably be purple colored.

Well, at least, it's based on Manhattan island. I don't think there are rural regions on the real thing.

Gary, you have no credibility and everyone knows it.  For the record your pathetic showing yesterday and the circumstances surrounding your defeat are a matter of public record.  If there is any blame here it falls squarely on your shoulders.  I entered this tournament because I believe in the heart of my pokémon.  I have supported pikachu since the 90's with time and significant amounts of effort, and unlike you I don't need to feel pandered, going about adventuring randomly and working to catch 'em all is fine by me.  So go back under your rock and enjoy the view!

@Ash, I conceded the tournament out to give you a chance, but I am done putting up with your shit.  As usual you have no substance, just empty boasting again as usual.  Which I will submit is another reason why you lost what should have been an easy win for you.  And if you don't stop your annoying and useless boasting I will simply post our emails and let the world decide if your ability to train pokémon is a lie, and who has an intelligence problem here.  And to think I was going to support you (As the only Pallet Town native) in the next round...  Unfortunately your post here is just consistent with your POAK blog post and again shows your personal unhealthy ambition knows no bounds.

As expected, Elesa was a very difficult fight. Had I not come in with Revives it would have been a TPK. Beating her Zebstrika came down to relying on Rattington's Sucker Punch and Quick Attack. 

It was close. Would have been even harder, perhaps impossible had I still been lugging around Santacular rather than bringing in Superman. Being neutral to every attack in her arsenal, he was able soak up a couple of attacks before going down. Yay Superman!

Of course he's going to be absolutely useless for what comes next....

Driftveil City.

 I am anticipating heavy difficulty from Clay's Excadrill. I have only two moves available that are Super Effective on it, Dig and Rock Smash. I'm probably going to have to rely on Wadsworth's Super Fang to cut it's HP initially and then hope my remaining mons can survive long enough to Rock Smash whatever's left out of it.
