@ Hyperion09: Well, I'm sorry if I misjudged you; like I said, I don't know the reason that you were banned, and I think that might have happened before I became a wiki mod anyway; it was certainly a long time ago.  I haven't seen any signs of "blatant power abuse", but I suppose saying so probably makes me one of Eddie's sycophants so, y'know, whatever.  I did say rudeness is never considered OK (i.e. being "personally offended" is not an excuse), but for all I know you weren't rude at all.  I wasn't informed of the ban until some time until after the fact, and I never knew the reason.

@ Gelzo: I think it's possible that your sock was banned for being poor taste (a similar thing happened to Justice's Hitler sockpuppet, IIRC, and Eddie's been very disapproving of the Pedobear meme in the past).  It was reported as a troll, and banned shortly afterwards.  I did say it was only a sockpuppet, but Eddie said he was going to ban the account anyway.
