  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Wait, shit, I have History there twice.

    OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Wait, I just realized that you took History twice :V

    Ninja'd.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

Replaced the second instance of History with Own Language :V

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Right, so that adds up to:

    • Craft (Blacksmithing) - 55%

    • Mechanical Repair - 50%

    • Operate Heavy Machinery - 26%

    • History - 70%

    • Archaeology - 31%

    • Credit Rating - 50%

    • Own Language - 99%

    • Persuade - 96%

I guess Blacksmithing of just 55% isn't a problem if your character's hardworking enough to redo something until it comes out right.

Not sure yet. What language is connected to the occult in this game?
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

Think "stuff written down in centuries old scholarly tomes."

  • No rainbow star

    Latin?

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    Sometimes. Or Greek or something.

  • No rainbow star

Well, if Latin lets him get into the occult more easily, then Latin

  • Has friends besides tanks now

They aren't too good for me, either.

But wait, I'm in the other game.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    Hm :/

I'll think of another possible slot in the morning. Too tired now.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

I guess Blacksmithing of just 55% isn't a problem if your character's hardworking enough to redo something until it comes out right.

Or persuade the client into taking it anyway :D

  • Wait, how do we do this again? I was thinking of having a nebbish ancient language professor as my character.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

^^Or that. Depending on how much you like the client :P

^I'd give that the Occupation Skills:

    • Other Language (Latin) (01%)

    • Other Language (Greek) (01%)

    • Library Use (25%)

    • Psychology (05%)

    • Credit Rating (15%)

    • History (20%)

    • Two skills as personal specialties

Anyway, as for scheduling...how're...Tuesdays at 4 PM (GMT-6) for the Victorian people?

  • You can change. You can.

    Fast Talk (05%) = 45

    Psychology (05%) = 45

    Listen (25%) = 15

    Sneak (10%) =30

    Chemistry (01%) = 15

    Law (05%) =30

    Bargain (05%) = 40

    Specialty: Spot Hidden (25%) = 40

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.

That should be fine for me

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

    ^^That looks right.

    ^Good.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
So...anyone else in the Victorian game have thoughts on that time? :V
  • Let me quote what I posted earlier.

That time might not work out that well for me. I have class at 6 p.m. central time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I could play but only for around an hour and a half or so.

  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Right. Forgot that was Tuesdays too. Maybe we could start a bit earlier than that...let's see what people have to say, then figure that out.
