Yes, let's ignore that for this fight.
Sorry, I had to defrost the fridge.
I'm moving on with the fight now. Everest, glad you're back for a while at least :v
OK, Everest, if you could command Mercer, unless youw ant me to :v
you want*
>ignoring speed
>ignoring dual-wielding rules
I don't think anyone would have held it against you if you had taken a little more time to prepare this encounter.
Also, not to sound like a pussy, but isn't throwing second-stage pokemon at us a bit much, at this stage? Their actual power levels aside, won't we get, like, a ton of experience all at once again?
Lastly, I forgot to grab my phone charger on the way to Dad's, and it's far too late for me to pick it up, so I have limited time. All that aside, I'll see what I can do.
My problem is not being able to open PDF's at the moment :v
So unless someone wants to go through and tell me the rules and erryone's speed, then I can only make do with what I have :v
@Cygan: I don't think anyone would have had a problem with telling you their mons' speed, and the dual-wielding rules are kinda clear-cut. :V
Sorry if I'm sounding harsh; I don't mean to.
I forgot dual-wielding even existed. That's my problem :v I can't go through the books and refresh myself on the rules.
If you would tell me everyone's speed, you know what, fuck it. I'm copying everyone's stats down onto a word doc and saving it. If people would be so kind :v
Just lucky I remembered attack/defence ranges :v
Littorio's speed is 6.
BTW, your links in the OP still go to my old sheets. All my current character info is in this post, so it would be better to link to that.
Oh, OK :V
My major problem on this laptop is it intermittently stops loading things. Usually Java, Adobe (including my PDF reader) and all :v
Which has led to my current dilemma, trying to look everything up online and failing.
Ah...
I will type up Greg and Littorio's stats in that post when I have time. Probably tonight, even.
:v
I'll try and make sure not to have any encounters before I can get it all together.
Also:
That was what I was aiming for, really :v I have my reasons, comin' up soon.
Now I need Malkavian to tell Phillip what to do :v
Blah. No more combat until I have everything I need at my permanent disposal :v
Snow has 7 speed
Dynamo has 8
EDIT: We could start a vanilla board forum with a subforum for each of us, and a thread in each subforum for each Pokemon?
...By now our Pokedexes should have scanned them and told us what they are
Doesn't it take five rounds?
^ I thought we were told it took 30 seconds?
Then shouldn't we have started at a higher level or something? If I'm starting at a certain level, there's the expectation that we'll actually be progressing through all those levels evenly.
^that's three rounds. Has it been three yet?
EDIT 2: I'm starting to regret my choice of starter. I suppose I can play it up for RPing, though
^This was the second.
Huh, rounds are 10 seconds? That's the longest rounds I've seen in a TRPG.
Ah, you ninja-edited me. I quite like Mercer. Don't underestimate hypnosis in a team battle.
...Rounds are typically 10 seconds? And they are usually SHROTER?
Yeah, in D&D, rounds are 6 seconds.
Bear in mind, it's not like everyone's actually standing around waiting for their turn. All this is happening almost simultaneously.
Still though, I thought a round was a minute or something
Why? It wouldn't take a minute to, say, punch someone.
But, uh, it doesn't generally take a minute to issue a command and have the pokemon follow it.
"Ah, you ninja-edited me. I quite like Mercer. Don't underestimate hypnosis in a team battle."
I like that, but at once a battle, it's basically "Hypnosis! Good job! Fall back!" Not exactly the most engaging play style. I don't mind being in a support role for the sake of it (at least until Mercer can take advantage of his jacked Special Attack stat), but Gastly's move list pretty much got boned in this conversion.
^Yeah, true...catch something else ASAP?
