I dunno about Vorpy, but even if inkblot wasn't trying to get banned I'd probably permaban him for attempting that shit right after someone else got banned for it. There's poking the rules and then there's just being fucking stupid. Or trying to get banned.
  • You can change. You can.
I'd feel hypocritical giving different bans to different people for the same infraction, although there's a value of truth there.

And yeah, while I disagree with Noimporta, I wouldn't say he's biased. If he was, he wouldn't both be supporting Wicked's opinion while disagreeing with or wouldn't be equally hard with Inkblot as he is with Vorpy.

    Belief
You know, this whole thing is pretty despicable.

How about, Instead of acting like an asshole or a Vorpy,

You just don't link to something that'll bring up CP?

That so hard to ask for from this community?

Not bringing up something that links to CP?

Let me know if it is, cause I'll leave if that's the case.
  • You can change. You can.
It probably won't happen again, Counterclock. Calm down.
  • You'd think it wouldn't happen in the first place, but if you thought that, you'd be thinking wrong.

    Now wouldn't you?

I could actually see something like this happening.

I didn't expect the permaban at all though.

I can understand if it's something less clearly-defined like "importing drama".  But there really isn't much reason for someone to go and link to child porn or link to a search for child porn.  So you'd have to go out of your way to put it into something; it's not something you can "accidentally" leave in a post.

If you really have a legit reason, we'll deal with it when we come to that point in the potential future.  And besides, if it's actual child porn, you ought to be linking the authorities to it, not us.

Well, it's more along the lines that the first time was an ill-conceived joke and the second one was a deliberate attempt at attention whoring and making everyone go into a big panic.

@GMH: Admittedly, I'm biased because I know Vorpy's reasoning. --shrug--
  • Well, the people who you'd expect would even consider pulling that are now banned (wait, is Soti Coto still banned?), and there's a precedent of zero tolerance. Given that users have to be admitted here, it's rather unlikely for it to happen again.

Soti Coto is unbanned but hasn't posted since being unbanned.
  • Kichigai birthday!!
