I am not ready to quit TV Tropes yet

I agree that you shouldn't be able to article talk contributor pages, but discussion involving the article itself seems like it would be both on-topic and much, much more likely to be seen than the old discussion pages.
Either all this conversation should have been thrown over into Trope Talk or this replaces Trope Talk and Trope Talk becomes part of Wiki Talk.
Good point.
This sounds like Trope Talk, actually.
For works pages, I would think the easy solution would be to have two buttons: one for "Article Talk", which is just about the article, and one for the work's thread in the relevant subforum.
FE: Okay, let's put Troper Ta--I mean, personal anecdotes on the discussion pages.
TVT: Noooo don't put them on discussion pages put them on a general trope talk forum instead.
FE: Okay, I will put them on the forum.
---Approximately one forum implementation later---
FE: Okay! I have merged the discussion pages with the general trope talk forum. Enjoy!
I deleted my account and everything.
It's official now.
And the left side can go eat a bag of dicks.
Come to think of it, I haven't texted Poisonarrow in a while, either; I prefer texting with him because he can't hit on me there. :P
Or more specifically, how do I use it with Pidgin?
