Monster House.
They're supposed to be endless mines of agony and suffering.
They are childrens games still. And this is the only dungeon in the game where this happens.
At this point in the game, less than halfway through, you barely even have access to any TM's for your two starters.
hotels licensed it for use on modified N64s in their rooms. I'd say
that's a fair success.
That said, Pokémon Snap was released just after the beginning of the Pokémon craze.
Said craze has mostly died down by now, leaving a much smaller (albeit still sizeable) fanbase, and the thing with hotels isn't going to happen this time around either.
^.^ That high speed stat plus Thief is great. I'll have to try it with Volt Switch, Explosion, and Reflect some time for some trollish fun
Heck, I remember stealing a Focus Band from an Aerodactyl using an Electrode. I then survived Earthquake. My opponent switched in a hurry when they realized that my Electrode had free reign for a turn I don't think they saw an itemless Electrode with Thief ever being used
BoltThief
Electrode @ Nothing
Hasty/Naive (depending on if it has Light Screen/Reflect)
-Thief
-Thunderbolt
-Light Screen/Reflect
-Explosion
Basically you use Thief on the lead. If Electrode then has enough health after their attack, you set up Light Screen/Reflect. If not, then explode. If it still has enough health you keep needling away with Thunderbolt. The second Electrode is in danger of being knocked out, you explode
DualThief
Electrode @ Nothing
Jolly
-Thief
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Explosion
Simple enough. You steal, set up either Reflect or Light Screen, if you have enough health, set up the other one, then explode. The screens won't last long but if you switch in something that needs to set up, it can be a god send
SwitchThief
Electrode @ Nothing
Jolly
-Thief
-Reflect/Light Screen
-Volt Switch
-Explosion
Steal item, set up Reflect/Light Screen if you have the health left, then Volt Switch. Later on, if one of your Pokemon is fainted and you need to revenge kill, send out Electrode. They may switch expecting an explosion, or they may go, "Hah! You would have used explosion by now!". Either way, you're leaving a crater
I haven't submitted these yet to Smogon because they still need testing
In all cases, max out Speed. Max out Attack with Switch and Dual, and don't QUITE max out Attack with Bolt so you can pump a little bit in special (How much depends on how much damage you want to do with Thunderbolt. Either way, Attack should still have a lot). Bolt and Switch should then have the remainder put in whichever defense isn't covered by a screen, and the remainder should be put into HP in the case of Dual
^ Doesn't matter. It will still take away a useful item from your Gliscor. In fact, unless the item is something that slows down Electrode, it won't ruin the strategy (Steal item. If there is health left, attack/screen. Else, explode)
