This Troper has started doing the Tvtropes forums
Comments
"No. The eternal knowledge that Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha has more entries than War and Peace will always be there, haunting them as they sleep."
"If War and Peace didn't suck, it wouldn't."
>implying Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha doesn't either.
Anyways, I'm disappointed that This Troper didn't do wiki examples. Hearing them say that line about Kodomo no Jikan being a deeply psychological and sociological work would have been amusing.
You're right, it probably is confirmation bias. But at this stage, what are we supposed to do?
Find the terri-bad ones and flag them for clean-up or outright removal if necessary.

Success!
Of course, I wouldn't really be a target anyway.
much, then why keep exposing yourself to it. I noticed a particular
moment where we had moved on from a TT derail on the "Bad entries"
thread and you had to bring it up again just to criticize such
conversations. It's rather silly...
That may be, but what does this have to do with this thread? I only made one comment to the topic, without bringing up anything, from which the thread moved away. Neither did I bitch over and over again nor did I re-derail the thread. I don't see how a simple mention of my opinions justifies a mindless pseudo-reply.
I wonder if Meaty's seen that video?
I didn't mind so much when it was just Troper Tales because, you know, we made fun of them as well. Then they turned their attention to the forums and, well, it wouldn't be accurate to say I approved, and heaven forbid that reading things verbatim in silly voices be regarded as quality satire, but it is the mark of a good satire that the lens doesn't discriminate, and sends up everything it's pointed at. It was kind of like a reminder that, "yeah, before you get all high and mighty, you're not so different, guys!" Whereas targetting individuals doesn't do that, because it makes it personal.
So I guess I was pretty naïve in assuming that they had any intent beyond "let's all point and laugh at the nerds".

I coined that

MONSTERSCENESTERI'm claiming Continuity Nod.
And nobody wants that.
It was funny and disturbing at the same time.
Given how potentially old the Doctor is, it would be difficult indeed for him to find a cute girl his age. Though she'd probabyl just say, 'I have a boyfriend'.
Thanks CWCki, I'm scarred for life.
